Seems like they're building up his record fighting against people who aren't at his level as to get money from a PPV when he fights someone well matched - the guy hadn't fought for 17 months and only twice (?) outside of denmark!
no doubt they will do something similar as they did with Hatton and make a bundle out of the first fight against a decent fighter.

To be fair it was an eliminator for a world title shot which seems about the right level. Anyway, more importantly, it was stupot stuart from Grange Hill doing the announcing, lets hope Gripper Stebson can get involved at some stage.

It was a title challenge illiminator , this guy was higher up the world rankings than he was, and he dominated the first 3 rounds, took a breather for 3 , got his 2nd wind and blew the guy out of the water, he can't win with some people, if he wipes the floor with them, then everyone says his opponents are wank, if someone takes him the distance then people say he's shite . He should now get his world title shot .

I thought he handled the Dane very well. He is still learning his trade. Its typical knocking a kid who will one Day be a World Champion. Both the top men in this weight are 36yrs and i reckon Khan could take them now. He is in no rush, 2 more fights maybe. And the Dane he fought was no mug.

Khan is a top fighter, I dunno what he’s done to piss everyone off.
He can only beat what’s put in front of him. I think if he had his way he’d have a title fight tomorrow but it’s not his decision.
He’s a model pro and doesn’t believe all his own hype. Be proud we’ve got a good British boxer.

My opinion lies firmly between the two for Mr Khan.
No question he is a talent. Facts are he has taken a big step forward with his opposition recently and has shown to be adaptable. I was personally quite impressed with his ringcraft on Saturday....he seems to have stopped the need for constantly throwing punches in favour of a more measured approach to his boxing.
However what pisses me off about him is the fact that he is still learning, yet the quite obscene effusive praised heaped upon him would make you think he was a cross between Ali & Sugar Ray Leonard. He's won nothing yet basks in the glory and riches usually afforded to sportsmen who have at least achieved in their sport. he's a good lad as WD/ID rightly point out, but i wish they wouldn't sneeze on a cake and call it icing. According to a chum of mine in the know, Khan hasn't got much of a chin (so you can forget Hatton, he'd fucking kill him) and the reason why he is steering the course set by Warren is for maximum financial gain before he gets found out.
I wish him well, but I wish ITV would ally themselves to someone like David Haye, rather than trying to talk up Khan fighting a guy who, basically, didn't throw one decent punch in 7 rounds.

There will always be question marks over his “chin” until he gets in a real scrap against a top fighter. The only time he’s really been caught he went down, but he did recover and fought back to win.
I think he will surprise people because everyone seems to think he will get annihilated when he fights top-draw opposition. I think he’s got the speed, power and boxing ability (albeit, still learning) to do well.
Agreed, he’s achieved nothing yet.
