Did anyone see this? I missed the 1st 1/2 hour. It was about a British brain surgeon who goes to the Ukraine to assist their brain surgeon in performing operations.
What an eye opener. We take the NHS for granted but this Ukranian doctor is performing brain surgery with a cordless Bosch drill brought off a market.
It did got to show how much the NHS pissed away money. The British surgeon was saying they use an £80 drill bit for one operation then throw it away whereas the Ukranian surgeon used the same bit for 10 years because he had limited tools/resources.
Then they removed a brain tumour from a Ukranian bloke with just a local anasthetic.
Fascinating but it set my teeth on edge

I saw a bit of it as well.
Nice to see that there is still such a thing as philanthropy in this self-centred world of ours.
