save the odd standout moment is imo: overated dated repeated far to often
not as good as, porridge, fawlty towers, some mothers, good life, monty python, the office, men behaving badly, one foot in the grave, father ted, dibley vicar, open all hours and duty free
david jason is far from being britains greatest comedy genius

don't want too be controversial but i disagree.....
David Jason in my opinion has been good in everything he has been in and is a very good actor, i don't think anyone would have suited the role as del-boy better than david jason.
I agree Only Fools And Horses is shown alot, but being controversial again i think it's one of the best british comedy programmes of all-time, not that i don't agree:
One Foot In The Grave Men Behaving Badly Porridge Open All Hours Fawlty Towers
etc....aren't really good, because i always watch them, and think there great.

I used to love Only Fools but for goodness sake there is only so much you can watch. That is all UK Gold seems to play these days since the arse fell out of the back end of the station.

And you missed off Dad's Army, which was funny and poignant. Never liked Dibley or Some Mothers to be honest. There's only so man ytimes you can watch a social inadequate fucking up before the overwhelming urge to kill envelops the senses. Or perhaps it's just me

Fools is an all time classic which has stood the test of time IMO.
If you think repeats are shown too often then don't watch them all, flick over to one of the other 3,764 channels available or stick a DVD on and watch something else.

Aye, I've heard he was caught snorting gouda through a straw. Shame.
The mouse, not David Jason.

pineapple,
That's a heavy price to pay. Nobody ever thinks do they how these 80's cartoon characters will feel once they have been cast aside for Pokemon, or some other such bollocks.
Surely there is someone he can turn to? (other than Penfold, that little twat is always in the Red Lion playing Crib with bagpuss and Chortle & the Wheelies)

Only Fools and Horses is a classic TV programme, and in my view the best of all TV comedies, but it isn't for everyone. There are so many brilliant programmes that come under that genre.

only fools any horses has provided some classic comedy moments, chandelier, del falling through a bar, bat man and robin
the best comedies do not run for more than a couple of series, unfortunately fools any horses got stale in the end

save the odd standout moment is imo: overated dated repeated far to often not as good as, porridge, fawlty towers, some mothers, good life, monty python, the office, men behaving badly, one foot in the grave, father ted, dibley vicar, open all hours and duty free david jason is far from being britains greatest comedy genius Talkin through your arse youth, The Vicar of Dibley and Duty free about as funny as the clap. Only fools is a fantastically scripted sit com with fabulous acting and has provided some of the funniest moments in TV history. David Jason is one of the best TV actors of all time.
