Do people really think we were the worse team?? It wasn't great but we defended excellently, they never looked liked scoring and the goal they did score was very lucky. We were the only team that was going to win it once the subs were made
But as has been said, Jerome has denied a few on here the result they desired

Why are you lot moaning? It's been shit all season. Are you really expecting Pulis to change it next season? Safe again for another season and our manager can't give up the throw, play a someone from reserves see how they go on or give it ago for a change Better lose 1-0 than 4-2 eh. Oh I wish for some tippy tappy But we didn't lose. No we didn't! It is about Pulis and his thinking on football.

It was a typical end of season game. They were no better than us, they didn't look like the side the media were talking up. We do look like a side who need to make at least four signings next season, players with pace and the ability to pass the ball. Fair result, we went back off the boil straight after we scored.

The first half was up there with the worst games I've ever seen (there have been a few contenders this season), but as soon as the subs were on- the players with a bit of pace and purpose, we looked like the team we should be. It's so fucking frustrating to see a team handicapped by this ridiculous, turgid system and lack of any pace going forward. Please for the love of God, ditch the 4-4-1-1 and go with Crouch and Jerome as a proper out and out partnership. Just try it for crying out fucking loud. Breath not being held - but you never know. He subbed Walters tonight. So one wonders what else he could potentially have up his sleeve. It was nice even to discover that he still had a sleeve

Well i taped it and went in the pool. Its 88f outside the sun is shining a nice bottle of Sam Adams in hand and i can skip through what appears to have been total dross to the 69th minute and see the goal. After that its down to Longhorn for a nice steak and hoofball will be a distant memory.

Pretty much agree there, two teams with nothing to play for.

Hey I don't mind if it'll be like this next season! If we can stay up comfortably with the amount of games we've had this season I reckon next season will be a good one! But I do wish as everyone knows and yes it has been done to death, that we could get maybe just one more or maybe two half decent centre mids, I think we have a good player in Palacios for next season when 100% fit and given more games. You're not allowed to mention the number of games we've played, they'll be telling you we've spent £90 million, we should be in the top 6. It wouldn't grate quite so much if the plank actually bothered to count how many games we have played before he trotted out his lame excuse! Use the squad and shut the fuck up!

Everton couldn't finish for shit, we had to lend em a hand!!!
Good team though, I think both are quite similar, Everton being the more 'evolved' of the 2 though.

You could of said this back in October! Apart from the Euro adventure. Pretty wank season. Fucking awful to watch. Those 6 points against Norwich and Swansea were our big games.

If Jerome doesn't start at QPR I think I may actually cry. I'd love to see a front three of Crouch, Fuller and Jerome with three CM's behind them. Just once. I know it would signal a mental breakdown for Pulis but you know.

Most of the so called experts on tv seem to think it's a reasonable excuse, they mention it themselves. I think it's a factor, or it least instinctively you would think it was a factor that you could fairly use to mitigate some of the recent displays and argue this was a season all on its own - but how many games have Fulham and Birmingham played? Fulham's second half of the season is almost Champions League stuff - and Brum have ploughed through the slog of the Championship convincingly and the second half of their season would have seen them promoted automatically. And has anyone bar Wilson, the 2 centre-halves, Etherington and Walters played an above-average number of minutes?

It wouldn't have to be an excuse of he revolved his team selection a bit. HE DOESN'T KNOW ANY OTHER WAY. He is a tactical dinosaur obsessed with the opponents and hoofing the ball. For a million a year it's a scandal.

I don't think you can put Brum in there, Championship football is totally different. As for Fulham, they've been in the Prem a lot longer and have had time to "evolve". I've said it before but Fulham are one of the most underrated sides in the entire league.

The problem with the European campaign is that there is more to it than just extra games.
With the huge travelling involved you spend so much time away from the Training Ground and it was like that from July through to the end of February.
A typical European week followed by a (away) game would be:
Monday - Training Tuesday - light training Wednesday - Travel Wednesday pm - light training Thursday - game Friday - Travel Saturday - light training Sunday - game Monday - rest
It's a massive schedule shift for a manager that is so hell bent on shape. No wonder we've looked totally lost at times this season.

ive been one of tps biggest fans but why should we pay good money to watch this shite every week maybe time to boycott matches until something is done about it i know a lot of people carnt afford or carnt always make it to games. But what the fuck gives you the right to say we should boycott games you dont even go to? I would never boycott Stoke not matter how we play or in what league we play in. It was a decent performance tonight against a very good Everton side, if its not good enough for you then stay at home and keep your opinions to yourself, armchair supporting tosser.

How about getting yourself down to the Britannia and supporting your local team? Eh? Thought not, keep playing with your bloody video controller you total tosspot. Point well earned tonight against an in form team. What was that? Oh yeah expectations just rose significantly with the temperature of the bloody jacuzzi? Get a life you moron!

look at the run Everton have been on, they scored four in their last 2 games including away at Man united. But a draw isnt good enough for some people who dont even go to the games

You've lost your Mojo mate. I am critical of how we play, but can't imagine giving up in despair. After the dross we got a good goal. Don't think you can carry on if you can't take the downs with the ups. Chin up.
