Cant we boo or cheer who we like these days? Football is going mad

Ahh, the 'turn the other cheek' approach - well known in football circles, certainly gains you the higher moral ground and has all opposition fans giving you the utmost respect.... NO ONE WAS BOOING RAMSEY FOR GETTING INJURED HE WAS BOOED FOR ACTING IN AN ODIOUS MANNER WHEN ASKED TO SHOW FORGIVENESS BY SOMEONE WHO FELT COMPELLED TO APOLOGISE BECAUSE HE HAD CAUSED PAIN EVEN THOUGH HE HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG If I could actually believe that I'd agree with you. So you are applying your own interpretation to events, judging fellow stokies and condemning them - I see you are applying your higher moral code in a fair and even handed way then....

Cant we boo or cheer who we like these days? Football is going mad You can boo or cheer who you like, I would never seek to stop you. But I will voice my opinion on it. That siad, I should point out for the sake of clarity that I'm NOT saying Ramsey isn't a southern softie Gooning TWAT. Because he is.

The folk on this thread who are embarrassed at our booing and barracking need a good look at themselves.
I would hate to have the misfortune of sitting next to you at a game
In fact I would hate it more if you were related to me.
Arsenal were fair game for all the shit that came their way, if you didn't think so then get a fucking humour transplant you gloomy twats.
For those, who like me, saw the game for the humour it was intended, welcome to my world ;D

I'm afraid that's the case yes. Not all our fans are whiter than white. I don't think anyone would claim otherwise.

I take it the op didn't join in with the it's here it's there it's every fucking where ramseys leg song?? Must admit I didn't I was too busy pissing myself I didn't hear that myself, I wish I had and it was louder. I was thinking at the match we should have had a song referring to his leg. The OP is ridiculous, we should make the atmosphere as intimidating and hostile to everyone, whether their fans boo our players or not.

I agree - maybe we should burn them all at the stake - after a fair and even handed trial of course.... Or maybe just being cast into eternal damnation is enough - I'm sure you would absolve them should they choose to apologise to you at the moment of their greatest need of course If its OK with you I think I will choose not to blindly accept your interpretation and will consider it to be hypocritical in the extreme - hope that doesn't make me less of a human being

I only remember because we only won three games. On that game-for-game comparison alone, we've clearly failed this year.

So long as the trial is fair I how could I possibly? I hear the Spanish have a good group of men to evaluate these kind of things - or our American friends in Salem maybe?

Alan Hansen you clueless idiot, how dare you say it was wrong for Stoke fans to boo Ramsey

Post by kylelightbourne on Apr 28, 2012 22:45:15 GMT
I don't agree with it simply because it was always gonna be used against us afterwards and taken out of context, no one else cares whether Ramsey acted childishly after the incident, we just end up, collectively, looking like idiots

If you say that the booing was entirely because Aaron Ramsey broke his leg, which is how the story has filtered through to Hansen, then it sounds inexplicable and tasteless.
If you put it in its proper context, it's a lot more justifiable.

I didn't boo, I felt that would put me on the same scale as Arsenal FC and so I can see where Padders, a more than decent poster who deserves to air his view without personal abuse, is coming from.
That said, I can also fully understand why many did boo Ramsey for his classless refusal to accept an apology. So both are right.

totally agree with hansen, even if he doesn't know the reason
wenger is one thing - ramsey is another (but he did have the decency to smile and acknowledge the stoke crowd)
