the destructions say it's drinkable after 14.... but it's at it's best after 21. you can leave it up to 5 weeks before "broaching"
got a friend over from the US in 5 weeks... so will look at cracking it open in a couple of weeks and then brewing up a new batch!
Probably taste like shite mind...

I've done it before with my dad a few times when I was just a lad, prolly about ten or eleven. I wasn't the greatest fan of beer at all back then (well, it is an acquired taste) and I hated it but found the whole process absolutely fascinating. We did some cider as well at one point and I remember loving that and thinking it was tremendous. Never had any other cider like it, it had a massive kick and burnt the back of your throat, not like the watery piss you buy in shops.

I really wanna make a home distillery in the garage and make some kind of spirit... ANYTHING just to say I've done it... Problem is it's very dangerous and very illegal, apparently.
