In no particular order..
Sidibe , Delap , Fuller ,Diao (less so perhaps), Woodgate ....and there's a few others on obscene wages who need to be shipped out because they are clearly past their best. They are ''ere' for the beer '' but little else in my view.
Time for home truths perhaps and a big , big clear out.!
Yes, good servants in the past ....but goodbye in the future.

By 'we' I think he means the back room staff and TP. If TP worshipped Fuller he would have given him a few more games than he has done this season, methinks. And Delap and Diao don't sart as many games as they once did.

If the implication is that Delap is here to take the piss, draw a wage and nothing more then it's the biggest load of horsehsit I've read in some time, and there has been plenty of it on here lately.

Rob. Delap is totally ineffective these days as is Diao. We need to move on, it really isnt rocket science. I think its very naive to think Pulis isnt keeping Delap on the wage bill and involved with the club (as apposed to bringing in a younger, more talented player on a similar wage) because hes a good pro, does stuff behind the scenes, good for the dressing room etc etc. Pulis as good as said, we want to treat our good servants the right way. I think you would find it impossible to find another premier league club who would accomodate Delap in their midfield. I think you would struggle to find a championship club who would want Diao in their midfield. There has to be some serious question marks as to why the fuck Arismendi wansnt on the pitch today instead of Diao.

Arismendi ;D ;D ;D In all seriousness, I think he has played his last game for SCFC. And sadly, so has Ric. Interesting point on Rory. Whelan and Deano are clearly our best central pairing (as results show), so I do wonder if Rory's future will be at right back with Wilko on the left. I think Salif might have to be content with a coaching post after this season (like Mama )

I think Salif might have to be content with a coaching post after this season (like Mama ) March my point is...if you want to put out a reserve team midfield as TP did today, then why would you not play Arismendi over Diao? We might learn something about him and it gives him the chance to play premier league football and improve. He clearly has more ability than Diao as we saw in Valencia and Besiktas. There is absolutely no justification for starting and ageing past it, and simply hopeless Diao ahead of a promising, young (but not too young) Arismendi. Diao was a sending off waiting to happen. As he always is.

Have you got anything a bit more credible than Goal.com? EDIT: Found similar elsewhere, fair enough. That is a lot for a bit part player.

We worship our players too much?
Delap, Diao, Sidibe, Tuncay, Whitehead, Collins, Higgy, Kitson, Fuller, Sonko, Faye, Walters, Crouch.
Every one of those players has had threads started about them saying they are either shit or a waste of money.
Some still get them regularly.
I've probably missed a fair few too!

Have you got anything a bit more credible than Goal.com? Rob, it was widely reported at the time when Carew came in & with respect to the Sunderland negotiations. I'm not going to spend ages looking but it came from several sources at the time. If you think that Ric renogiated his current 3 year contract just over 2 years ago when he was playing brilliantly and was probably one of the top 3 senior pros at the club, I don't think the figure will be that far out?

He (Steve Bruce) is close to agreeing a fee of around £3m with Stoke for Fuller, but the striker's anticipated wage demands of around £60,000-a-week are likely to present a new obstacle to be overcome. www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/8810690.Bruce_plays_a_waiting_game/Some wonderful games & goals but it now has to be bye & good luck Mr Fuller
