Ashton out so they Fix a postponment.....
unfucking believable, they did it to wigan last year.
No effort to protect pitch, should be fined for that.
most games in top few divisions are called off for safety reasons ... ie snow and ice in stands & surrounding area outside stadium.
but to have a game called off cos you haven't BOTHERED to protect the pitch from a widely forcast frost ...... shocking, absolutly shocking
see stafford rangers are playing
and I found this !!!!
Snow delay at the Meadow Friday, 27 February 2004. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The start of TheFA.com's inaugral weekend of live FA Trophy games is to be delayed by two hours following the snowfall in Shropshire
The big Quarter-Final derby clash between Shrewsbury Town and their county rivals Telford United, which will be the first-ever Trophy game to be broadcast live on TheFA.com, was due to kick-off at midday. But after the snow came down in Shrewsbury, the groundstaff will be given extra time to clear the Gay Meadow pitch in preparation for the showdown.
The match will now kick off at 2pm.
Click here to listen live If you can't get to Shropshire for the game, or missed out on tickets, you can still catch the match here with us. In an historical day for The FA Trophy, commentary from two of the Sixth Round games will be broadcast live on TheFA.com.

Your right there dave,
1) If ashton was playing the game would be on.
2) They've got covers to protect the ground, they knew it was going to snow, so why didn't they fucking use them?? (read statement 1)
