Where does everybody think is the best chinese food around newcastle / hanley? Probably going The Arch tonight but open to other suggestions if anybody has eaten better anywhere. (Ben, don't say Buffet Island )

The one that has opened near the Brown Jug in castle is brilliant. Cheaper than peaches/china palace and the food is much nicer.
It used to be the atic restaurant but it's now called Yummy Yummy. Get yourself there!
Don't be put off by the fact that it's usually empty, the food is top notch!

Have to admit that Bauhinia was fantastic last time I went, but it was a couple of years ago.
thedee51.....have you considered Thai rather than Chinese? Can thoroughly recommend The Blue Chili in 'Castle. Fantastic service, awesome food (better than ANY chinese I've been) and not too expensive, three courses with drinks for two people around £55.
Give it a try
BTW naughtyfarty....I am seriously tempted to smite you for the "yip-off" joke above!!! Ouch!! ;D ;D ;D
