I'm afraid for me, Glastonbury has run its' course. Too many Arrabellas and Harriets running round now pretending to be street. Can still understand the appeal, as long as you don;t pitch up next to the public school brigade who infest these occasions like rats these days.

ive been the last 5 leeds, and the line up has been getting worse each year, yesterday i brought tickets for T in the park, which i think has the best line up of any festival this year so far, V is quite good this year aswell, might have to get a day ticket for my girlfriends birthday (she loves that alanis morrisete bitch)

After seeing the line up with some of my favourite bands playing, and it being my birthday(my 18th), I really wanna go!
Does anybody know how long they usually sell out in, because I won't have money until the end of the month

V has always had the "pop tastic" reputation and there still signs of it in this years line up but still, quality line up...thought the courteeners would have got a better slot...
Was going to go Glasto again this year, but the healdine acts arent very appealing to me... so think i'll give it a miss and then be very dissapointed when the full line up is anounced lol
Reading/Leeds I think could have a very good line up...very rock im thinkinging!!

its all down to preference i suppose. the line up at reading last year was absolutely superb. there was loads of new talent on show - foals, maccabees, pull tiger tail, which i loved, along with class acts like lcd soundsystem etc. it was just the right mix.
glastonbury - still has the atmosphere it did 10 years ago for me vestanpance. ok i wasnt around before that, but its got everything you want at a festival and is still, despite the weather most years, the best festival in the country.

It's not about the music, it's about pitching up on the Grey site and having a rave by the dance-music-playing-burger van on the last night after drinking a bottle of vodka.

I much prefer Leeds festival to V.Had a great weekend last year.V is to corporate.Plus everything closes at 12 so you have to be tucked up in your tent by 12.30 or they set dogs on you whereas at Leeds you dont really sleep for 3 days.(got our tickets for this years Leeds fest in September last year so all ive got to fund now is me beer)
AWESOME

theres no doubt the carling festival is awesome.
the debate is - reading v leeds
i dont think ill ever go to leeds again to be honest after experiencing the atmosphere at reading last year. it was amazing. leeds is good dont get me wrong, but try out reading next year, i guarentee it will make your balls tingle.
