Umm, as an Actor i have great respect for him, however his views on gun control made me despise him in later life

He was a gun toting maniac, Dallas. He could ride a mean chariot though.

It would have been poetic justice if he'd died by being killed in an armed robbery though.

RIP.
With a government like the present one in the US i'd want a fucking gun too.
Hitler was a big supporter of gun control.

I've never understood how an actor can be homophobic. On my Drama course, out of a class of 80, there are nine lads, five of whom are openly gay. The industry is so gay it's unbelievable, and acting is the gayest profession there is (apart from rent boy or gay club owner maybe), so hmmm...

Maybe his Homophobia was borne out of fear of expressing his own sexuality ??? Psycho bable ??? Or Maybe Charlton was as Bent as a Bottle of Crisps ;D

Perhaps they ought to ban prozac, because in nearly all those shooting incidents the shooter is nearly always on anti depressants,... oh know, mustn't upset the medical industrial complex, lets punish law abiding gun owners instead.

Perhaps you could provide some evidence for the above statement ??? Interesting to note you make no reference to Mr Heston's Homophobic Racist views

Interesting to note you make no reference to Mr Heston's Homophobic Racist views Well lets take the columbine massacre as an example, both the shooters were on anti depressants. Virginia tech massacre, the shooter was on anti depressants. Also ask yourself wether or not lives could have been saved had a law abiding citizen been armed and able to stop the shooters.

Interesting to note that you make no mention of Mr. Heston's active involvement in the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. He marched alongside Martin Luther King Jr. Somewhat strange behaviour for a "racist," don't you think? But I guess that if you have deemed him a "racist" then a racist he must be.

well happy people don't generally go around shooting people do they ?
they didn't shoot people with anti depressants they used guns and bullets legally held and bought even though they were complete looney tunes
in each instance legally armed campus police weren't able to stop the shootings so ask yourself wether or not lives could have been saved had a previously law abiding looney tune citizen not had such free access to firearms.

I'd say that banning antidepressants would lead to more depressed people wanting to shoot up a school full of bullies than people who are generally very passive whilst taking them... I'm on them and never get angry at anything, it's great.

[/quote] They didn't have campus police at columbine high school, and Virginia tech was a "gun free zone", 30+ people were killed at virginia tech, if one of the law abiding citizens had a gun they could probably have saved the majority of those lives. Banning guns would be the lazy solution and it punishes totally innocent law abiding people who like to have a gun to be used in self defense from criminals (like the government ), you need to address the root causes of why people feel compelled to do such things not just eliminate the means.

If you can't buy or own a gun its much harder to shoot someone
