following my other post "im not happy", ive kicked up a fuss and they have agree'd to do an emergency payment into my account today. AND............... ultimatly, because i kicked up a fuss, they realised they had made a mistake and because i had not made £4000 this financial year, i will be re-embursed my tax for this month in my next pay packet ;D     |

You might have to pay that tax back then!
Just a warning, I got a letter from the IR because I was reimbursed my tax but they got it wrong and I got a letter 6 months later saying I owed them £200 +!

I haven't paid it back yet and have lost the letter so i suspect it will be coming out of my pay soon!
As it is you probaly won't have to pay it as a lump sum anyway and they will give you warning!

ive just read a review of the lost game dee, and they started mentioning charecters i havent heard off, i think i need to catch up before i buy it or i might ruin the second series for me, aparently you play a photographer, and its all sort of resident evil style free roaming around the island, with flash backs to give you clue's on how to solve things

Yeh, seems okay but a tad tediuos. Gamespot have given it 7.8 saying lost fans would enjoy it but not a lot of other people.
I'd deffo watch up until the end of series 2 just in case the game spoils it. And the cliffhanger at the end of season 2 has to be one of TV's most memorable moments of recent times. You have been warned!!

im on episode 5 of series 2, i got through series 1 in a week, but i got 2 series of scrubs for my birthday so im splitting between them aswell, but R6V2 comes out next friday aswell, along with bully the week after, then gta4 in a few months, its starting to pick up abit on the xbox front |

if you read what they've been saying about R6V2 it seems they have got rid of the things that made R6V1 good and made it more 'arcadey'. Don't know wether this will be a good or bad thing, but OXM are not looking forward to it one bit. Will have to wait and see. All the others you mention do sound superb, especially GTAiv. Theres certainly a lot of gaming to be done this year. Make sure you watch series 2 of lost though mate, trust me, it has one of the endings to end all endings!!! |

it doesnt look that bad to be honest, and it uses the GRAW engine, so will look pretty good. Just a bit worried about the gameplay, and if it is worth the £40. If you buy it, let us know what its like mate, cheers. |

if its half as good as rainbow 6 vegas, then i will get it, i loved that game, from the terrorists shouting "shit", when you lobbed a grenade through the door, to shooting th one armed bandits and all the quarters falling out.

rainbow was a well gud game, but gears of war was better i think. gears of war 2 comes out in august.

GOW was alright, no way was it better then R6V, everything in gears of war seemed really repetative to me, it just got boring fast, where as with rainbow six vegas, the visuals and level layouts were stunning

Gears is superb visually but doesn't come anywhere near the online gameplay of Halo 3 or COD4.
And it's out in November not August, ready for the chrimbo chart top spot.
