I've bought a USB bluetooth adapter today (Motorola D200) to connect to my computer in order to send files to my phone (Samsung G800), says on the packaging Plug-n-play > no software installation. Not that simple for me though.
The instruction manual only seems to show how to connect hardware such as printers and keyboards by bluetooth, not how to connect a mobile phone, so im hoping someone on here can help.
First ive tried changing the setting in Samsung PC Studio so that it connects via bluetooth not the usb cable, when i click the bluetooth icon im given two options:
1. Connect phone to PC by using the connection wizard
2. Connect phone to PC by choosing a port manually
The first option leads to an error message, and asks me to choose the second option, which i don't have much understanding of.
So ive looked in the Bluetooth Devices section under Control Panel, and tried to set up a connection here, with no luck here either.
The adapter does light up when plugged into the computer, so can anyone help me to use the sodding thing please?
thanks in advance folks

pinched the vid from the 'other' site, n put it into a program called Movie to animated gif converter n it lets you cut the video to the clip you want, simple as that. cant remember where i downloaded it from though

yeah thats the one, enjoy. Ive downloaded a few today but most of them would put a watermark on as it was unregistered shareware. This one is free, but think it will only convert avi files. A program called Free 3gp Video Converter from www.dvdvideosoft.com will let you convert, then open your converted file.

The problem is, the file is almost 3mb, so people with slower or limited bandwidth will suffer for you using that Gif as a signature, if everyone had them the board would be unuseable.

im not having it for my siggy i want it some i can put vids on my phone If you want it for video on your phone you would be better off converting them to MP4 instead of gifs. Super Encoder will do the trick.
