The Bari Italian Restaurant at the top of The Shambles is good and you'll get an excellent carvery at Russell's restaurant. The Three Legged Mayer near the Minster is a home brew pub and the Blue Bell is worth a visit (kept in Edwardian style). The Kings Head on the river is interesting as long as it isn't flooded and The Golden Fleece at the bottom of The Shambles has been on The Most Haunted programme on TV. The Starr Inn is OK too! Recommend the Ghost walk from the Minster - good laugh!
