If you are on about the copany with houses for people with learning disabilities (Manchester based) I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

Cheers monkeycat, that's the one.
I currently work for the Richmond Fellowship and due to the tender coming up for renewal it is now Creative Support that i shall be working for from the 1st of April.
Luckily we are protected by what is known as TUPE which gives us protection of employment. Having said that then i hope that they try their best to look after the people that they're supposed to look after.

Tazi, from my experience they have houses run by inexperienced kids lattempting to look after, in some instances, very challenging clients, and then we are left to pick up the pieces (I work for Combined Healthcare NHS LD services)
If you are being tupeed over, worth checking how long terms and conditions are protected for, usually only 12 months

Such a shame when some employers cannot get even the basics right as this just puts unneccesary strain on others. The way i work is that if you treat folk with respect then it's pretty much returned which in turn makes your job a hell of a lot easier due to making their lives alot more easier in which to live too.
I would assume that you yourself have a pretty demanding job at times.
Sure that we get protection of employment for the duration of Creative supports tender which is for around 5 years. Have a booklet in which i shall have to look through thoroughly in order to be certain though.
Thanks monkeycat as that's much appreciated.

Yes it can be tough at times, I am a nurse at the assessment and treatment unit, so usually take clients in crisis.
I know someone who is quite high up in Creative Support local houses, so if there is anything in particular you wan to know, let me know on here or on private message.

Thank you so much as that's very much appreciated as no doubt something may crop up in the future.
Once again nice one thanks and keep up the sterling job that you do.
