Im not one for starting threads but last night I decided to make the Dynamo game my Nephews first Stoke game. ;D Now he has been bought up a Villa fan with living in Worcester, and makes now bones about it but he is 9 & just loves his football....so the answer to the question of "Do you want to come to your first Stoke game....OH YES!" It took me back to my first game when it was a cold day against Oldham in the FA Cup many moons ago. Nephew was full of questions on the night such as "what was the old ground like?" "What is the Oatcake... ;D" (he was impressed) & the impossible to answer "why are you so iffy away from home!" (Sorry mate...not even I can answer that) He enjoyed his half time pie, the nice lady sat behind us in the Boothen who offered him & accepted a Starburst sweet, and was bemused as to why the away fans had taken their shirts of during the game! ;D He was up & down like a jack in the box during the second half, but his night was made when Kenny hit the sommersault after the rising header. He even tried to sing along to "Kenwyne is a Stokie....." His overall impression was what was important to me as I just wanted to make sure he was brave in the Potteries arctic weather, and enjoyed his first game. So back at the car & awaiting to leave the Power League his response made my night more than the result...."Uncle...when can we come again?" Priceless & worth it all.

Great read mate, my eldest son 21 now was in his pram when me and missus took him to the Vic to watch England school boys. Well watch is perhaps not the right word being as he was a few months old but me and the missus remember he cried when England scored and the cheer went up
