...or are they suffering from Altitude sickness? After their brief flirtation with the outer reaches of the play-offs earlier in the season, it now appears that in recent weeks normal service has been resumed. Dario will no doubt be talking their chances down and making reference to the magic 50 points being the be-all of their ambitions this season. Not to mention Big, Bad experienced (funny how they always talk up the opposition when it suits 'em) Stoke visiting on Saturday. "Well you know, they can attract experienced players like Taggart..." blah blah whine.... If I hear his cohort Graham McFlurry playing that card as well between now and Saturday I'll scream. "Well, Stoke are a massive club, with massive support, you'd be expecting them to come here and..." blah blah. Just as well I'll be miles from the game and from R. Stoke's area as well. And on the subject of Radio Stoke - does anyone else think they were laying it on a bit thick the other day - banging on about the Match on Saturday like it was going to be trench warfare. Kind of a big dis-service to the whole ID card thing and anyone who's got one.
