I notice he's started them again! It's funny how they're always "little Crewe" when they're gonna play us. Lets hope we don't have the usual Stoke reaction to Dario saying they'll be lucky to win another game this season. It's about time we didn't let him get in our players head!

Yeah, heard him on Radio Stoke this morning. "They'll bombard us" blah, blah, blah..."They're all experienced campaigners" blah, blah, blah..."No boy wonders in their team" blah, blah, blah...
Yeah, you're right Dario, we really have been relying on old has-beens this season haven't we. I mean, look at the evidence; Halls, Noel-Williams, Russell, Commons, Neal, Svard, Eustace, Richardson, Thomas, Clarke... The oldest there must be pushing, ooh, 24.

With our in form players carrying injuries as well...It's funny how we only get recognition for how good we are at derby day. Lets have a Fergie vs Wenger style war ;D

if everyone plays there best and puts in as much effort as AA then i wont be complaining win, lose or draw. yet we are surely due a win against them. another little point these are the teams we should be beating if we wont to progress up the league we always seem to struggle against the littler teams like crewe, walsall, gillingham and rotherham maybe its something in the players heads that say its goin be a easy game..
any way sod dario and his mind games Come on STOKE ;D

It's about time we didn't let him get in our players head! At this point I feel someone should make an unfunny and uncalled-for remark about it not being our players' heads we should worry about Dario getting into.

Yeah would hate to think what Dario's mind games really are?
I'm sure they'd involve Gladiators and male German stable hands but let's not dwell on that.

We should just ignore it really. In the home tie the Radio and the paper were chucking it in our faces it was a case of Brain (them) Vs Brawn (us).
We've played some superb football this season that has nothing to do with brawn.
Davef makes a superb point. We're still an inexperienced side even with the signing of Gerry today. His list of players, you wouldn't describe any of them as being a brawn type player.
If we play as we know we can, we will win. That goes for almost any team in the division. It's just putting it out on a consistent basis now.
Ignore Dario, he's done a wonderful job at Crewe and deserves all the plaudits (see what i'm doing here)!
Right, lets not rise to it, concentrate on our strengths and we'll be happy. A vocal Stoke crowd is sure to help, and the signing of Gerry has just given us a massive boost.

Darios mind games - a contradiction surely? Garry Kasparov need not worry yet Joking a side Dario's approach is good, very obvious but still good, he knows his side will be well up for it. He's trying to make it a win win situation, if there not expected to win and don't, then that's not too bad. If they win then it looks even better. Schoolboy management at its finest

and if it gets our players less up for it then even better for him! Taggart won't let us drop our game that much though!

I'm glad it's an away fixture (although it'll seem like home ) and the team can play the type of football seen recently on their travels (ignoring Palace). I'd like to see Svard in alongside Eustace with Russell on the right and would love to see Commons start on the left but I reckon Hooky will get the nod. 2-0 to the Potters. ;D
