You're best off ripping it from a CD you already own (using Windows Media player for example) and then transferring it via a cable using the appropriate software for your phone. You might be able to surreptitiously do this on your work PC or just use a mate's PC.
Downloading (legally!) will cost money, which is silly if you already own the CD. Which is why I can never work out why people buy ringtones of their favourite tunes, rather than just ripping them from a CD they already own.

This is a bit more complicated than it appears Brian, shame about your work PC.
What you really need is access to a PC to upload tunes to your MP3 or there's the old fave of I-Tunes, but I doubt "The Doors" (good taste man!) would be accessable.
I think this is the way that the phone companies want you to operate (I-Tunes).
What I do is download loads of music from tinternet, unwrap then upload me MP3, If your PC has got a CD player then utilise that, rip it from disc and transfer to MP3, I'm assuming you are at work now so you do use company pc, then rippin' from disc is the answer short term.
Sorry Brian I replied on t'other forum, then the thread dissapeared on me, but KS is right
