With No football this weekend (prefering to forget the England game) lets talk trainers. Does anyone agree there is nothing quite the same as new trainers? just bought some Beckenbauer Allround they are black with green stripes. Love em!!! everything seems right with the world nothing like new trainers.

I bought a pair of k Swiss about 18 months ago and I'm still wearing plasters because they are uncomfortable. Shitest trainers I've ever had.

You always see blokes in new white trainers on holiday - one of my pet hates

Always shit when you walk in the rain in them for the first time. They're never the same after that.

Depends what you want them for. I prefer approach trainers rather than traditional trainers. They last longer and are more comfortable. Use them for walking, cricket, cycling and on the kayak.

Don't wear trainers anymore, much more comfortable in a pair of desert boots, but when I did wear them, adidas were the way to go, quite like the look of the adidas london in black.

I swear by these. Had about five pairs now over the years, all different colours. Supposed to be £100+, I've never paid more than £50. Cheapest I picked up were brand new on ebay for £18 from the states. They had some cracking Adidas stuff in Cape Town last year, one shop was stuffed floor to ceiling with all Originals stuff.
