I used to love real ale. But since being here tastes have changed. And I've found it hard to find good real ale anyway on my last few visits. Although my taste has changed as I say. Bass at the Coachmakers and the Golden Cup used to be brilliant. Peddy at The Norfolk in Shelton was impressive too. Is The Norfolk still open?

Peddy at The Norfolk in Shelton was impressive too. Is The Norfolk still open? The Norfolk is still open - just. I pop in from work once or twice a week and the clientele might best be described as exclusive. No, hang on, let's just make that 'not many.' The Peddy is variable with Theakston's Best usually being a safer bet. Stoke drinkers should have something to smile about soon when those wonderful people at Titanic re-open the Kinsway around March time.

I was disapointed to see the Forge in Knutton was boarded up the last time I drove through.
Proper pub is that.

Titanic wreckage at The Rigger years ago when it was good Nosey Rosey down the Brown Jug. Old Tom (only found in beer festivals of various pubs). Few pint's of Abbott's always go down a treat if poured right. Que Looney to pop up and go "I fooking hate these ale drinkers"
