Technically not premiership standard BUT his work rate cancels his lack of skill out totally and utterly. I would give him Man of the match today. Very impressed.

Our best attacking player today and linked up well with Crouchy which was encouraging. 8/10 is my baseline mark for him based on workrate alone, +1 for having the bottle to grab the ball and put right what went wrong at Norwich for the penalty and +0.5 for that great run down the middle of the park in the 2nd half which resulted in a corner and took the pressure off the defence at a time when we were starting to creak a little.
9.5

My God the lad put a shift in again today.
Simply supreme effort and got the goal his work merited.

Technically one of the best footballers in our squad, his skill, movement and work rate allows the 4 outfield players to link up so well with our back 6.
Very underrated by some!

Walters has come on leaps and bounds through hard work and confidence.
That said he lacks pace.
I 'd love to see what Jerome could do given the same amount of patience and managerial support. He is fast.

I was one of those few stoke fans who rated walters the moment he joined stoke and i said wait untill he gets used to the premier league, now hes definatly one of the first players i want on the starting line up, he is simply brilliant for stoke, 100% effort and decent quality at that, cant fault him

Did you see him turn around just before he took the penalty, and give a menacing look at either the keeper or the ball and you knew he'd score!

He is, in my opinion, a lesser version of Tevez... Work-rate & attitude is top notch but just lacks a bit of technical ability. That said, still a top performance from the lad today with great spirit and balls to step up and take the pen after missing against Norwich. Very Good.

Also has a good ability to run with the ball, dangerous going forward taking the ball from midfield. Always gives 100% also had the guts to step up and take the penalty after missing against Norwich.

Looked like a pikey on speed ! Looked like a nutter at times ! 7/10 would of been 8 but for a fucking ridiculous dive after losing possession second half !
