Smudges post/article suggests that but there is nowt on the official site to back it up and someone casts doubts over it on his post. Must admit when I heard it down the ground, I thought the guy was saying we were 380 odd short for the weeks target not THE target. Hope I was wrong because everyone else seemed to think he meant 380 short of THE target. ??

must admit at first I thought he said 390 to be on target for the week, but as we left it sounded like we were just 390 short overall

According to TG on Moan and Grumble last night, we are about 300 short of the target (2200) for non-ST holders. This assumes all current ST holders are going to pledge. Don't want to jinx it, but I'm feeling quite confident now. Oh bugger...

I have to admit guys i had intended on handing in our 3 forms yesterday but left them on the kitchen table & only realised i'd forgot them when i got as far as Derby on the train . Never fear though i'll be popping them in the post in the morning 1st class to Stoke on Trent ;D . So that'll be 3 more current s/t holders that have pledged.

I think his words were we're just 380 odd short of the target for the pledges, so i don't know! But anyway 380 sounds quite near seen as theres another week!

6529 all together 4502 current season ticket holders 2027 non-current season ticket holders so if all current season ticket holders pledge then we have done it

the official site says we have just gone past 6500 in total with 4500 current s/t holders and 2000 non s/t holders.
Whichever way you look at theres still 2000 pledges to go, and to be honest thats alot further away than I thought we'd be at this stage. Remember the deadline ends on 29th feb...thats only 6 days left!
where are the missing 1800 s/t holders?
Come on stop fannying about and get them pledges in!!!

well as long as the current season ticket holders get theres in, well do it because we now have enough non-current season ticket holders so its now down to all the season ticket holders that havent sent theres in yet, also they will perhaps have X amount of pledges at the club that will have been delivered this morning that havent been counted yet

No we won't Mark, we need 2000, and theres 1700 current season ticekt holders left that haven't sent theirs in! We still need 300 new ones which will be where the 390 came from!

Bizarre, I have a bad feeling about this too. I expected the influx of pledge made at the Wigan game to have been larger than what it was. Maybe some haven't been counted yet? Don't know. Many predicted that there would be a late rush, but not totally convinced that that's going to happen?
(Rough figures) Week 1: 0 to 4000 pledges Week 2: 4000 to 6000 pledges (a 50% reduction on the previous weeks' increase) Week 3: 6000 to 6500 (a mere 700 more pledges over the weekend of the much anticipated Wigan game according to Off. Site, although many folks may well have taken them home with them with the premise to return them during the week)
I seriously think that we'll hit the 7,500-8,000 mark. I hope that it proves I'm taking as much bollocks on this post as I do on all my others! Please prove me wrong!

i thought there are 6,500 season ticket holders at the moment + the 2027 non current season ticket makes it just over the 8,500, i might be wrong though

Just over 6300 so close enough! I'm praying we'll do it becasue i won't be able to afford the extra £50

It was a bit daft of them to give this number of 390 out. I thought they meant they were 390 short of the 8,500. Now people who were thinking about getting a season ticket, but couldn't be arsed to pledge, will think they don't have to bother now as the target is nearly reached.

I was thinking it but decided I'd keep it to myself...but seeing as a few others have metioned it Im having my first real doubts we are going to achieve this figure.
Lets hope that some of saturdays pledges havent been counted yet and that some have taken them away to return at a later date.
