I am down tomorrow night as well. What do I have to expect a smartly dressed bloke in a nice jacket (who the group is named after) who looks a little like Mark Kermode singing about stuff in a kind of Smiths/morrisey style with a potteries accent , and some old bloke called glenn on the keyboards ;D

You idle bastard Trousers!

I think it will be quite close to 9pm as we are but the humble support act tonight. (Cats in the Alley are headlining)

Trouserdog, do you have any SOT gigs over Xmas/new year? I would be willing to part with a couple of nuggets to see you, but from what I heard on dandelion I doubt you'll have many London dates in a hurry

Trouserdog - Well done on making the Festive 50 twice. "Taxi" was nestled in with some good company.

zippymoondust...
I know this will probably come across as me trying to look uber-cool...but I didn't realise we'd made the festive 50. (Poor old Peely would turn in his grave!)
Don't suppose you know what tunes were in, and what number we got to? (There you go, that's me definitely not looking uber-cool!)
indielad (is that nixon, as was?)...
The promoters got all shitty because we'd agreed to play the wrongpop night a couple of weeks later. I couldn't be arsed with their attitude so we decided not to bother playing. Plus our drummer had the shits, so we wouldn't have made it anyway! Was it a good night? P.S You got a new guitarist sorted yet? Haven't seen you advertising on myspace for a while.

Trouserdog
Apocalypse was around number 30 to 35 and Taxi was number 12 or thereabouts.
Dandelion are playing the Festive 50 until the end of January so I don't know if they'll be putting that tracklisting up with December's later this week.

Number 12??? Fucking hell! I just hope that Mark E Smith wasn't listening. Or in particular, any of his legal advisers. ;D

Anyway there were 2 Von Sudenfed and 2 Fall tracks close by. Btw just had a look at your MySpace site . January's cancelled

Yeah, we've had the same old problems with drummers being double-booked, two venues closing down, a plague of locusts descending and eating the sound-man's mixing desk. Usual kind of stuff really.

Nah not got one yet, got some gigs coming up though, the old guitarist has agreed to play them for us, so we dont completely get out of the public limelight haha. Was an alright night, we got a bit shitty with the support bands for leaving (they had school in the morning LOL) so it wasnt a belter crowd... can be expected for a sunday night though. We're banned from the glebe now anyway.

..has the Birmingham gig on the 12th been cancelled? J8-) Yes, file under 'cancelled' along with most Trouserdog gigs. The curse alluded to above continues. It's rather like being in the Velvet Underground. One day, wise men will say "not many people saw Trouserdog live, but everyone who did went out the following day and punched a spastic." However, all is not lost. Anyone unfortunate enough to live in the Radio Stoke catchment area can hear the band in session on Subculture this Thursday evening at 7pm. I daresay there's also some new-fangled way for other people to hear it on their computers, but I'm not the man to ask about that sort of thing.

All is not lost jugger...we have just been offered another Brum gig....the date of which will be confirmed once I find the diary that I lost earlier on today.
However, once confirmed, I shall cancel it immediately just to save everybody messing about at a later date.
