Exactly four weeks ago was in the bar of the Quality hotel at Wembo the night before the game talking to Citeh fans and Stokies and it was rate exciting. Although, bizzarely, I did get annoyed with a man in the bogs with an abcess.
Feels like a lifetime ago.

Haven't watched final or read programme yet. Had a big conference call at work this week and the chair is a man city fan - i could only think of how i wanted to kill him for about 45 mins! However more positively - i never thought i'd see us in the prem never mind proper finals. Really pleased that my 2 boys (6&4)have seen the mighty Potters at Wembley twice already with differing memories. It's taught them what following Stoke is all about - to look down and see them singing "delilah" &" there's only one TP "at the end of the final was magical. Sharing those weekends with with dad, brothers, kids, nephews, friends was amazing. Put the semi on again. Shut your eyes & Listen closely for the sharp intake of breath as 30,000 watch Huth strike the second in in the semi - that was almost the end of the world & then delirium! I want more...

Unbelievable that the FA drug test our players before such an important final for our club and a disgrace that they didn't drug test Man City players.
Still, i suppose it was job done in the sense that they wanted to distract our players whilst putting them out of their stride because afterall it was surely in their interests that a more prestigious club to win that cup due to how much it's gone down the pecking order in peoples estimations.
Spiteful wankers.

I brought myself to watch it last week and was surprised that we werent as bad as i thought. They didnt have many chances and we put some real pressure on at times in the 2nd arf. It was areal shame that Matty and Huth werent fit and we didnt have a game changer like Fuller on the bench. Who knows what could have been. I will always remember 2011 for 2 great days out at Wembley and watching my team in an FA cup final, a dream that i thought would never happen. I'll always remember the emotion of the day and thinking of loved ones that are no longer here whilst trying to sing abide with me. OUR team played in an FA cup final and stuffed Bolton 5 nil in the semi. How on earth can we complain, cast your minds back to the last 20 years, now that was shit. We are on the cusp of something fantastic and i woudl put my house on a few more Wembley appearances real soon.

A great weekend for me. Never really expected the win but after 70 minutes thought we just might do it. Turned out to be a step too far for the team. Realized what it meant to us as a club when I met the New York boys at Heathrow, loved the fact that the taxi drivers were rooting for us. Everyone I met on Friday night was with the underdog. For me this final appearance made the world sit up and take notice of what is going on at our club. I had a great night with friends who I'd not seen for a while (RAF, the Roque's & Lesalanos) not forgetting the Mancs that we met, I felt like we drank London dry. We may have lost but we were without doubt, the best losers that London has ever seen. No one can take that away from us.
If you've ever stood on an away end at Cambridge on a Wednesday night in the rain then these are the days that make it all worth it. I have never felt prouder of our club as a Stoke fan of over 30 years. Another year in the top flight & a European adventure to look forward to.
Anyone on a downer - we're a small city in the north midlands with a very sensible bunch of people running the club. We're looking very much upwards & things might just get better :-)

6,000 mile trip spending money I could not afford, to watch us basically get outclassed for 90 minutes, and I don't regret a thing. Fantastic memories. Lucky to support Stoke in these times.
If this is indeed the end of the beginning, I was lucky to be a part of the beginning.
If this is the beginning of the end, well I'm glad I was there for the pinnacle.

Agee Multiple. I was lucky enough to be able to come for a month and managed to see us beat Arsenal. That was ace.

Wanted to tie the Arsenal match in with my trip but it wasn't feasible.
For me, the succession of texts I got from my brother and uncle throughout the Arse game, updating me on the score and the chants from the crowd, were the pinnacle of my season.
I suspect looking back in years to come we'll see that game as the day we peaked.
If so, great memories.
If things are going to get even better: brilliant!

I do believe that it was in their interests for the most prestigious team to win it to give their profile of the FA cup a boost 'afterall, it's the billionaires that took it seriously in their eyes anyway and that's just the boost they needed along with the thought that millions upon millions of people around the world will see that one of the richest teams in the world took it seriously'. Cannot wait until a bigger team for the final is drug tested the day before after they had sorted out their planning but somehow iv'e a feeling i'm going be waiting one hell of a long long time. By the way, has this sort of drug testing being done before on just one team before a cup final?.

Given how prolific we were in the build up, It was a hughely benine performance and hard to understand why.
I think we were the most fancied underdogs for years and this might have been one burden to many for the lads.
We knew City would have large parts of the possession but I expected us to run them down Barcelona/Stoke style when they did have possession and the quality of our play when we did get the ball was woeful.
I found the league campaign very frustrating, just when we started looking up the table we seemed to be dragged back into the relegation scrap. Our play and overall performances were worth a lot more than 46 pts.
The last week of the season: 3 defeats and no goals, 8th to 13th and 1 FA cup final defeat for me was a bitter pill to swallow

It was a hughely benine performance and hard to understand why.
Because we were depleted by injuries to some of our main players. Up against opponents who spend what we spend on the treansfer budget on a breakfast. Because we were outmanouevred.
Nowt to be ashamed of.

Ya Ya Toure is a beast of a player and on the day he ran the game.

Good day out slightly marred by the football. Walking up Wembley way will stay with me. At the semi I know there were more of us than Bolton but there was hardly a Bolton fan to be seen at that time but for the final it was rammed with equal measures of us and them. Playing football on the way up was a bit surreal how I always managed to find space for the return pass is a gift I naturally possess!
Went for a stroll at half time and while walking abck to my seat convinced myself there was no way we were going to win based on what I saw in the first half. Yet not long before they scored I felt they'd ran out of ideas.
Wasn't until the following morning I felt a bit pissed off. Haven't seen the game since and unlikely I will.
Trick is to get back there again and win it this time.
