Just had a bit of a time warp.
fuck all on the box, so I've been sitting at my puter pissing about on the net.
Decided to highlight all of the MP3's that people from all over the globe have been kind enough to share with me ( Ive got fucking hundreds! ) and play them on shuffle.
All of a sudden " Come back to what you know " by " Embrace " started wanging out of my speakers.....I'd forgot Id got it to be honest. What a great track, and a pretty good band, I saw them live at V2001 they were one of the best bands on I thought.
Wonder what they are up to now?

They were utter wank, I did like that song though, in a sentimental singalong shite kind of way.
I assume smeegs was being ironic with the 'unique sound' gag?

They were fucking dreadful. They were everything that pop music isn't meant to be: drab, colourless, sexless, safe, parent-friendly. Thank God they fucked off. They made Travis sound like Kylie fronting the Sex Pistols.

Embrace did a song called " Your not alone ", I think it was in the charts sometime in 2000.
Abs, you found any new places where I can perv on some Goth/Rock chicks?
What about the Rigger?

I thought they were a good band and The Good Will Out was a great album that produced some good songs (All You Good Good People, My Weakness...., Come Back to What You Know, The Good Will Out, Last Gas, One Big Family etc.) After that album they were a bit hit and miss but still did some good singles (Wonder, You're Not Alone)
New album should be out later this year

they were a boring band who were lucky enough to write a couple of catchy tunes.
However, you fans out there wil be glad to know they are going back to the studio to record some new material.

I quite like Embrace, at least the album Drawn From Memory anyway, The Good Will Out is over-rated. Try songs like 'New Adam And Eve' and 'Yeah You' for what I think Embrace should be about. And their website (in html) is: www.embrace.co.uk/index.cfm?zID=9
