I really can't understand why we keep playing the first choice keeper (???) in these friendlys. We aren't exactly spoilt for choice in this area, so why aren't we giving some of the younger keepers a chance to get experience.
Surely Kirkland and Robinson should be given a chance.

yeah i agree mate, i think robinson is our best prospect for the future he just needs some experience at international level and will probabaly progress more when he moves to spurs

Yep totally agree. I think Kirkland and Roninson should be allowed to battle it out in friendlies.
People say James should play as has the experince, which is fair enough. But 1. is he good enough? and 2. Surely the only way of the others getting experience is through playing.

Doesn't Kirkland's dad win £10,000 from a bookies after placing a bet that Chris would play in goal for England before he's a certain age?

I don't think there was any set age he had to do it by. I think his dad placed the bet when he was 9
