George Best so I could knock the tosser out-can't be doing with that bloke (personal reasons ) seriously though Id love to meet Gordon Banks as an ex Stokie and Bobby Charlton-both cos they were world cup winners but also two of the biggest named players England has had. Diego Maradona. He's just so much more interesting than many of the others. He's actually got something to say that is more substantial than the usual schmaltz or standard responses to situations.
Current players, none. I've rarely met a footballer who has any conversation worth listening to. The managers don't encourage it. They usually become intersting when they have finished playing.
