I see that Bob Stokoe has died today.
You don't see managers anymore running on the pitch at Wembley to celebrate winning the FA Cup wearing an overcoat and a trilby!
Anyone who could produce a shock result like that against Don Revie's Leeds has to be a football legend.
RIP.

That's a great shame, the football world is less without characters like him.
It's a pity more managers don't "enjoy" like he used to !
R.I.P. Bob

RIP Bob. Great memory - you always remember when the underdog thumps one of the major powers that Leeds were then. Also Ally McLeod - great character who died at the weekend.
Clubs are so PR-precious these days that you don't get 'characters' like in them thar days - either players or managers. Strachan and Warnock are about the only two left.
