Well done to the lads who started on a 25 seater at Toddington later last night.Slapping a lone Stokie in the bogs surrounded by 50 Blues. Then another by the van. I believe after we left they broke the windows of another Stoke van. Probably 300 Man City and 25 Stoke including women. Afterwards when one Stoke lad Stood up to you three of yours backed off shitting themselves before calling upon another 30 or so to help out against 4-5. Funny though you couldnt shift them who stood up to you with all your numbers. As for the fat cunt with the bald head yes we are Sjoke and we dont know where the n40 are lol. What we do know is your face will be remembererd. Hooligans fucking bullies more like.

Stokeyleight- you always remember a face in those circumstances- there is a guy I can clearly picture from Upton Park in 1978 and i know exactly who he is now- his lawyer many moons later was my mate at university- no problem with wishing harm on people like that

Should have read "was" his lawyer- and I had no influence over the way he was treated etc- just pointing out that you can always find people if you want to

Every club has it's idiots, just look at the threads on racism. The City fans I spoke to were brilliant lads and were very complimentary about us. Unfortunately there are people in society who like to throw their weight about and bully other people whether it be football fans or not. They usually can't take their beer and have little dicks which match their IQ's.
Someone some where be it Government or someone else has got to come down hard on people like these and i don't mean ASBOs. perhaps we should send them to Afghanistan and put them under the charge of The Army.

I'm sure that would do wonders for any anger management issues.

I was on a train from Preston to Euston and returned the same day and had no problems with the Man City fans onboard. Had a few chats and a bit of banter on the way down. On the way back I tried to sleep and kept to myself. People were friendly.
Not sure what it would have been like if we had won.

my mates old man was probably the bloke who got slapped with 4 or 5 Man City scum around him this was after a window on our bus containing 3 kids was put through with a bottle sending glass straight into the cheek of one of the young lads. Would of just loved the numbers to be even, there was one or two who were your typical bully/hooligan, spotty little chavs who look like they need a good meal only getting involved when they knew there numbers were greater than ours.

Lee we were on a different van our windows didnt get put through.
Your van probably ran into the same twats.
One lad on ours showed them up to be bullies.WHEN HE THREATENED TO TAKE FOUR OF THEM ON ALONE. they thought it better to fetch another 30-40 to help them.

Being a man city fan who was at the match. Can only say I did not see any trouble & all the lads I know did'nt. I spoke to a lot of Stoke fans before & after the game. A bit of banter is all that went on. Are you trying to tell me that Stoke have no dickheads? Your fans must be angels & the the 1 fan who stood up to the city fans must be hard as nails. You talk shit is all I can say.

Gerry we met loads of Mancs before and after the game who were sound.
Unfortunately we also ran into one eyed jack and the 50 year old fat bald hooligan and their wannabee associates.

Sorry to hear that you ran in to a few idiots, there are a few at City but it is a minority as I am sure that the vast majority of Real Blues that you met would of had a polite word and wished you all the best. On the reverse of that, I met and spoke to quite a few Stokies and found them all to be very friendly and complimentary before and after the game. Great fans, good club, hope you go far in Europe! Hope to see you all at Eastlands tomorrow.

Really sorry to hear that there was trouble. It just shows that ever club has a patehtic neanderthal element.
I didn't see a hint of it on my trip down on the train which we shared with a couple of Stokies who were really nice people. In fact I only have good words for your excellent fans who were class personified and very gracious in defeat.
Best wishes in the future and in Europe.

No doubt there are idiots from both sides and it's never nice to hear these stories whatever side of the fence they come from. Must say though that on the tube's and around the pubs after it was mostly good natured. I was expecting to see trouble and i didn't. Maybe it was a way of blocking the pain or just sheer pride but our group of 10 or so sang all night long and a neutral who didn't know the score would have been certain we had won the cup ;D
