anyone know where I can find a workable ROM download to play on a SNES emulator from the internet? (own the actual cartridge but SNES control pads are all broke and fancy having a game through the PC for old times sake...)
Same can be said for a ROM copy of International Superstar Soccer Delux (SNES)

May be able to help you out there.
If you've had no luck by the time I get home tonight, I can have a search for you.
BTW I hope you're aware that Super Mario Kart (and a couple of other games) had custom hardware on the cartridges which kind of makes them run in a strange manner on certain emulators.

Is there a Sega Megadrive emulator yet... or am I just being silly?

You're being silly Smudge - there are freaking loads of 'em.
Can't think of the names of the top of my head but someone who was interested could easily search for "Genesis emulators" on google - Genesis being the American name for the megadrive.

Megadrive was the peak of gaming. It was all downhill from there.
I think the emulator I've got is called GenX and I've got ROMS for sonic 1 and 2, FIFA95 (the best), Mortal combat 1 and 2 and NHL something (95 probably).

I've got a megadrive emulator, but only with Altered Beast, Splatter House and Sonic the Hedgehog on it.. tended to work out that you were either one or the other, and I was always Nintendo over Sega, despite having all the consoles.
Still play on SNES from time to time despite having a PS2 and all that.. you can't beat the old classic platform games like Mario over some of the bland 3D stuff out there these days. Great playability.
"All Sonic would do was run around in circles time and time again, but then Mario picked up a fire flower, and blew the blue ****er up" ;D

Maucek, spot on with those games!
I had all them apart from Mortal Combat 2 and the NHL one. FIFA 95 clearly was the best, but why?!
I quite liked Jungle Strike even though I couldn't get anywhere on it.
Erm.....what else.......Micro Machines 2 wasn't bad. Also had Super Hang On (bit crap, but still playable) and a few others I've forgotton about. My mum tragically gave away Jungle Strike (along with Sonic 3D and Micro Machines Military which I wasn't that arsed about) when I thought I was going to get it back....not a happy day.
Think I had an NBA game where you only had two players on a team, NBA Jam I think...quite good.
The best multi-player game (and also one of the best one player games) by far is Mario Kart for the SNES. Never had a SNES but tried to get one a few months ago just so I could play Mario Kart. Thinking about it, I never asked my next-door neighbour if he'd still got his...thats something to do when I go home...retro gaming, you can't beat it!
Don't think I've played on my PS2 for at least a year, heap of shit that it is! ;D
