Biggest week in our history and our dressing room looks like a scene from Holby. ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/fwGSRilBFZwfei5Q6XIp.gif) Sidibe,Fuller,Higginbottom all out for the season. Ethers and Huth now doubtful. Wilson and Jones carrying knocks could it get any worse. Whatever, whoever pulls on the stripes we must get behind. Man City couldnt have asked for more luck to go there way.

Unbelievable bad luck, and, in the main, to key players as well.

Shame is with a full team i really fancied us to attack Man City from the off with our two wingers running them ragged.
Who knows come Saturday we may see Ethers and Huth and what a boost that would be now.

The timing of these injuries is woeful luck. However, I think we have been remarkably lucky overall when it comes to injuries. Sure we've had little knocks that have sidelined players for a week or two but we've generally had most of our key players available most of the time. If you cantrast that with clubs like Sunderland and Everton we really would have very little to complaion about. The probelm is that our injuries have all come before possibly the biggest game in our history and that IS terrible luck. Still, lets hope Huth makes it and I'm sure Wilson and Jones will.

To be fair the team without Sidibe, Fuller and Higgy has been doing pretty damn well of late.
I'm confident that Ethers will at least feature, and no news on Huthy yet must be good news?

im confident huth will play. hes a tought lad a knee knock isnt gunna stop him. Ethers is a bit different though. If the lad snaps his hamstring then he could be out for months, missing pre season and probably ruining the whole first half of his season next term. We all know pulis aint a gambler, cup final or not ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/4tzqvp1fxEemag_TAXLJ.gif)

Why do people keep mentioning Sidibe for starters, he hasnt even had a footprint on this season!
Fuller and Higgy...ok it would be nice if they were available....however we have done fine without them!
So only worries are Ethers and Huth really.....KJ and Wilson are fine

the worst part of it is that tevez looks likely to be fit, thats more worrying to me, hes the best player in the league i reckon. And hes an exception to most of man citys squad who dont give a damn about winning, just in it for the money, tevez on the otherhand works his ass off and actually enjoys playing football, a rarity at eastlands.

For the sake of this though, I hope he gets injured again tonight...not badly but just enough to keep him out on Saturday

Well I suppose we can hope they get a few suspensons against Spoz. Clutching at straws.
The real one we miss is Huth. That will be a sickener.

With huth jones and ethers we've lost probably our 3 key men! If we sent out our best 11 including those it would be hard enough, but with those 3 out it's a very steep uphill task! Hopefully our togetherness will come through but what a bloody time get these injuries.

Pennant, Walters and Whelan have been equally 'KEY' in our recent success and I'm sure Jones will be fit. Keep the faith Clyde - Saturday belongs to Stoke.

There's a Dutch fitness coach who work with Bellamy that will tell You it's down to the way TP trains the players.

I can't believe any Stokie would expect anyone from the club to give anyone a clue as to what the injury situation is. They have more sense than that.

Said as much on another thread Kev. Woeful bad luck at this late stage but we have been very lucky overall when it comes to injuries. I would suggest that is because our players are fitter than most. Although it could simply be good fortune.

Excellent post and my thoughts too! If we had had these injuries at the start of the season, we would have been in dog shite! Sunderland, Everton plus Fulham(Zamora, them Bele), WHU and I daresay a few others have had terrible injury lists. I agree with the poster about Arsenal! My gardener(Man Utd. supporter) said he watched the game on TV and he thought Pennant's and Huth's challenges by Arsenal were deliberate and vicious! At least, it's exploded the myth that AFC are angels and Stoke are thugs!
