Have you seen Hull's fixtures??
Either way, we have to do our job on saturday. We do that and we are within touching distance.

I have seen Hull's fixtures, sheff Utd are looking as good wing men for us at the moment, and I think they can still make thge play offs if they win all their games. Anyway we have to win our 3 games and hope for results to go our way.

I'm already bricking it for tomorrow night. Things could look so much brighter at 10 o'clock tomorrow. Hull and The Baggies have 3 tough away games apiece.
After a marathon session on the BBC Predictor, I'm coming round to the way of thinking that if we beat Bristol City, one win from the last 2 could well be enough.

I've got Wolves beating wba and the hull game a draw on the predictor .

If pushed, I'd take any combination of results but 2 away wins.
But I'm hoping for a bit more.

I can very much see two home wins on tuesday. Barnsley are a good side at home, and are on a good run of form, and wolves are playing well, and amongst the play-off chasing pack. Here's hoping

We win on Saturday, we're up.
Fuck everyone else, it's as simple as that. Win Saturday, and momentum will take us through.

Glad that i'm out on the lash tomorrow night, when i sober up enough to remember the games on wednesday it might be a nice little hangover cure.

Well Hull have Sheff Utd away on saturday which will be tough, and West Brom travel to a strong home side, in Norwich City, so i wouldn't expect West Brom or Hull too pick up more than 3 points over the next few games, and in my opinion could easily end up picking up just 1 point from the two games....
Beat Bristol City on saturday, then in my opinion they're out of the running, it's in our own hands, but we look the more favourable bet, certainly when you look at the remaining fixtures of the automatic chasing teams.

If either WBA or Hull get 4 pts this week, they'll have done really, really well.

Agreed Grapey - it seems to work out well for us that we should know before we kick-off on Saturday if it is totally back in our hands - ie we win all three, we go up no matter what anyone else does.
Hull and WBA will both do extremely well to get 4 points from two very tough away games (Barnsley and Sheff Utd and Wolves and Norwich). If either get 6 points, I'd be amazed and very impressed.

You're sounding a bit desperate Stokie's ;D The fact is, its in ours and West Brom's own hands. We win our remaining games, and we go up, You don't! We are in much better form than you, and as a result of that coupled with the fact that the rest of you are bottling it, we will decide whether we go. As long as we aren't relying on other teams I will remain a happy man. UP THE TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

listen tigger, come back tomorrow when you've actually played the game - i have a sneaking feeling you'll have a slightly different attitude.

And don't forget that Watford have fewer away games to play and they're hopeless at home. Frankly, I'll be as nervous this evening as on Saturday, watching the Hull match and dreading hearing any negative (for us)interventions. Surely our nearest contenders can't both win away? I'd be happy with a draw - though would prefer a defeat of course - for West Brazil, even if it means their temporarily going above us. Roll on 10.p.m. ???

Just debating whether to stay away from things entirely tonight - or go the whole hog and watch Hull on Sky and listen to the Baggies on 5 Live.
I think I'll start off following both, and retreat into a no-football zone if things start to look bleak.

Me thinks he (tigger) doth protest too much!! ;D
Not developing a touch of altitude sickness, are we, now it's down to the business end of the season?
If you beat Barnsleh and the Blunts away within four days, fair play to you, but the odds must be stacked heavily against it happening.

I think phone off, go to my local Wetherspoons where the lack of broadcasting equipment means the Queen could marry Ken Dodd and a nuclear war could break out and you’d never know. Get home, slip into bed, click the text on to page 325, see the Vale are still bottom, see we’re still top and crack one off. What a blindin Tuesday.

Looks like the Tykes have beaten all the other contenders at home (apart from us)
Barnsley 3-0 Brizzle Barnsley 2-1 Baggies Barnsley 3-2 Watford Barnsley 3-3 Stoke
It'd be a shame (and a bit of a nasty surprise) if they didn't make it 5/5 unbeaten.
