is we no longer have a settled side. We had such a tight knit unit nefore we signed the likes of Ameobi on stupid money. It must really dishearten certain players to see someone like him strill into the starting line up having hardly played any first team football all season.
Just thinking back to when Reading walked this league a few seasons ago, and how settled their side was. They've had virtually the same back four for 6 or 7 years! We needed stability, and unfortunately I don't think we've got it at the moment.
Trying to stay optomistic though!

As a great seer once said; "Try? There is no try; only do, or do not..." Be optimistic Bob....

Someone made a good point about Adam Rooney when they said that if he was a Bury player (not on loan from Stoke) would you be calling for TP to sign him? I don't think so. He's done nowt at any of the clubs he's been loaned to and apart from that hat-trick, he's done nowt for us either. Agree about Paterson though.

The problem with us is our defence as i have never known such a shower of fuckin shite "exception of Riggot" with a complete lack of an understanding between them-selves.
Shower of fuckin shite and IF Danny Higginbottom was still with us i dare say that we would have allready being promoted.
Whilst i admit Stoke had little/no chance in keeping Danny at the club and that we got decent money when he was sold i would also say that our capture of Cort has being a complete disaster.
THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH US.
