I went down to the training ground this morning for half an hour. I couldn't help but notice a tall dark guy training who I've never seen before. I was told it was Rudolph Austin. I believe we've tried to sign him before but couldn't get a work permit. Is he any good? Noticeable absentees from training Griffin, Lawrence & Parkin. Despite the rumours Gally was there and seemed happy enough.

Decent enough on Football Manager if you want to finish 2nd in the Premiership. Not good enough to 'push on' from there, though.
That's all I know. He plays Centre Back and Defensive Midfield, apparently. Right back at a push.

He was all arms and legs a bit like Carlton Palmer. ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/fwGSRilBFZwfei5Q6XIp.gif)

I believe you are correct. We have tried to sign him before, but due to permit rules, we couldn't.
He is highly rated and also been chased by lower Prem teams and a few Championship clubs, as well as a few teams in Europe. I think he is a versatile defender, with centre-back being his best position.

we did sign him apparently, there was a link on here a few weeks ago saying that we had signed him and once he is eligible for a WP he will join us. He was quoted saying this.

It has also been a story about there could be more problems with players from Jamaica, as they have dropped in their FIFA ranking. Could mean problems when their current contracts run out. Demar Phillps will definately not be allowed to renew his contract if he's not playing with Jamaica's current ranking.

That's because Demar is a good player. Fuck knows why he isn't on our left wing! ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/4tzqvp1fxEemag_TAXLJ.gif)

He is quick, can cross, can shoot, tracks back, can beat a man and I don't think he's lightweight-he's a tenacious little bugger as well. That's why I can't see when You're stick with Cresswell on the wing You don't pick such a player.

Interesting, I was thinking about him the other day and wheter we'd try and sign him again. Looks like we are then. Ricci rates him very highly and TP spoke of him well before.

Rudolph's a fantastic player but isn't that good in the rain, dear. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif)
