I think we're under estimating Hull, who can still go above us with their game in hand The defining moment for us IS this Saturday where nothing but a win will do and Hull to lose. Well, to be fair it's perhaps not THE defining moment but it'd stop me and twenty thousand other Stokies shittin it for a week

Both the Baggies and Hull's games tomorrow are tough. A point each will not please them but they may have to settle for that.

Fornside don't forget that Brazil play Norwich away and Hull play Sheff utd away on Saturday. 2 fixtures I wouldn't want at this stage of the season. If we win our 3 games we'll go up, I'm sure of it. What i'm not sure of is if we'll win our 3 games

Just a question- what's the lowest number of points a team has been champion of the second division with under the three-points-a-win rule?

Still think that Hull will struggle with their games to come:
Barnsley (A) Sheff Utd (A) Palace (H) Ipswich (A)
Not a 'banker' in sight, all of those are tough games and not games I would be looking forward to.
Think if we can get a win on Sat v's Bristol then promotion could be settled at Colchester, leaving an almighty party on the 4th May. This Saturday is the BIG game and we need everyone in the Brit that we can possibly get, come on all u Stokies out there, forget Sky get to the Brit and roar the boys to the Premiership!!!!

I get us up in second behind WBA, both on 79 points.
Just think we've got a bit of momentum at the right time. Its time for the experienced pros in the team to stand-up and be counted!! There's plenty of time for a few more twists and turns. Starting tomorrow night, can't see Hull & WBA both winning for a start.

Well my thoughts are we will win all our remaining games! I aren't saying this as a head in the clouds view but because: Starting with the easy ones: Colchester and Leicester - well goes without saying these are both games we SHOULD expect to win and get an early goal against either and there heads will drop. Hopefully by the time we face Leicester the bottom 3 will already be decided. Brizzle - they are now for the first time really buckling and dropping points left, right and centre. Previously they were picking up 1-0 victories and scraping through. If you've read the articles on Newsnow they are already playing mind games saying the pressure is on us, obviously it is on us but it's more so on them as we also have a point and +12 goals in hand on them! Prior to this it has been 'Bristol are lucky to be there' etc etc but now they've got to prove there worth. Not only that but they aren't that great on the road and they have firstly play us then the following week they are away at Sheff Utd. Then on the last day they have the ever improving Preston. Considered opinion on there run in they'll be lucky to get 4 points from the 9. As for others: Hull as said above have got an incredibly tricky run in Barnsley (A), Sheff Utd (A), Palace (H), Ipswich (A). Ipswich and Palace both scraping for the final playoff spot, Sheff U still a mathematically chance of them making the playoffs and starting with Barnsley - who not only are still in reach of the relegation battle but also have a good home record. For what it's worth I think it'll be a draw tonight. Difficult to call due to there opposition but I think they only come up with 4 points from 12. West Brom - Tonight face the Dingles away - a true derby match with the Dingles hitting form and making a certain play off push with 2 games in hand. I can see the Dingles winning this! Then Away at Norwich, Home v Soton and Away at QPR - the problem for WBA is there away record is very inconsistant and invaribly they'll either lose or win. Although I would expect them to beat Norwich and Soton - QPR on the other hand I think will beat them. Considered opinion 6 point from 12. Watford - Still can't dismiss them however they are in shockingly bad form at the moment - I think it's fair to say it's THEIR game of the season this weekend also at Home v Palarse. If they can pull a win out of the bag here then they are very much back in the hunt since they only have Scunthorpe and Blackpool in their final 2 games. Considered opinion . . in all honest gawd knows! Could be 9 could be 0 depends on which Watford turns up. My grand summary is our next win our 3 games and we'll be champions - the rest have got it all to do against some very tough opposition and the majority of there games are away and Hull, WBA and Brizzle are all susceptible to losing away. It's even possible if we win our next 2 games we'll already be guaranteed a top 2 spot - with the champions being decided on the last day . . . which would be nice!

Tonight is a huge night and I think if either Hull or west brom fail to win or lose and we win on saturday we will make it with a further win over colch or leics. I think west brom will do it Brizzle have to beat us. If Hull win their 4 games they will go up...and looking at their fixtures they will deserve it!...I would not like that run in. But in the champs anything can happen...so another night of tension tonight....2 very close games

I put us down for three wins and then did the rest as fairly as I could.
I had us to finish as Champions, West Brom second and Wolves to squeeze into the play-offs!

I think any result is possible (inc WBA win folks) @ the Custard Bowl tonight but after that I would expect WBA to get 6 further points @ worst & possibly 9
Hull should get no more than 4 points (max) from their next 2 & could easily end up 5th or 6th
we will beat Brizzle but I worry about the last two,can se two draws.
not too worried about Watford now.

Going into the last game, I get the top seven looking like this: Brazil 78 Stoke 76 Hull 73 Watford 72 Brizzle 72 Wolves 70 Palarse 67 Which will leave us needing a draw against Fester. Interestingly, at the foot of the table, Fester would be in the bottom three, a point behind Blackpool and two adrift of Coventry and Southampton. A point would only be any good to them if Watford beat Blackpool, so they'd have to go for it.
