That the reason we are not playing so well at the moment could be because of the newer signings? Could there be resentment from the existing squad that got us to the top? Just a thought, wondered what others views were?

No - they just need time to gel. They've had 2 games - should be more than enough time.

I doubt if there is much, if any, resentment, more a question of getting the new players integrated into the (don't laugh!) pattern of play. After all, that's why we have pre-season games, the difference in this case is that the loanees need to hit the groung running - not at all easy!

I agree with both of your points, so does it now bring TP's management and selection skills into question then? There has to be some reason for our dip in form?

A few things have gone against us lately - like hitting the post on monday - would have gone in on our 5 game winning streak. Delayed kick-off - ok was unfair to Blackpool too. Some poor Refs - Mike Oliver at PNE & that Idiot D'Urso . But in the end the team & Pulis will get the job done.

Like I say huddy, the loan players SHOULD have been the final bricks in the wall, but unfortunately all they've done is disrupt the way we had been playing. Maybe they are better players and 'on paper' have strengthened the team, but IMHO Pulis has strengthed areas where we were basically OK and continued to neglect the positions that really needed improving - wide left and with a mobile central striker. Anyway, the manager is paid good money to take these decisions and only time will tell whether is judgement is correct or not!
