It is so obvious we need somebody like Taggs at the back, he may not have been the quickest or cleanest defender but he organised and it was like having a coach on the pitch. Aas much as Riggott has done alright i don't think he offers this more than Shawcross. I know some of you will laugh at his but i would play matteo centre back with Shawcross,Dom has played there in Champions league. Having said that i think Delap should be more vocal he aint a kid and has played at the highest level

In many ways Riggott was a wasted opportunity
Whilst he is a decent player, we need / needed leadership and someone who could command the back four
Step forwad Mr Danny Higginbottom ?

Talking about Higgy, his Mrs and son were in the area on saturday i am not sure but i think he still has his house on Wychwood park, i also know that Higgy is not settled up in Sunderland and he hasnt started a game for them recently....

Higgy would be good signing, he needs to sign permently though not on loan, i know it will be next season but i suppose that depends on which league we are in. I just think some of he older players need to take more rsponsibility

I agree and it is showing,Higgy was good at leading until he shit all over us So we've swapped a leader who could play who abandoned us as captain for another traitor who can't lead and can't play. Dicko for captain! He's the only one with any passion on the pitch and he doesn't even get played!

I read somewhere that Higgy has fell foul of Keane, Keane reckons he does'nt show enough passion and desire to win! True or not true? Make your own minds up but he's been out of the picture for a while now, and no, I would'nt want him back.

Not up to Prem class, but a very good championship defender...would have him back if it meant improving the team. (which he undoubtedly would do)
