From an Older Stokie who used to watch Terry and the lads in the 70's I wish him all the best with all my heart. I only post on here when I feel I have something to contribute and this is a time when that is hopefully so! Dave.

I just remember TC from his playing days.
My 8 year old (born and lived all his life in Hampshire) is just beginning to know about '72 and all of that. He was off sick the other day and he watched the highlights of the final.
We were reading the story of the final tonight for bedtime. Always mentions TC's role at the club.
All the best.

I remember TC taking a boot to the head at Anfield in the mid seventies.
Went off with blood pouring from a big gash but he wasn't substituted though ...
We played with ten men for several minutes whilst he had stiches in the changing room, came back on the pitch with a big fuck off bandage on his head and with his first touch, he put us one-nil up against the Scousers.
He's a hard bugger Terry is ... you can beat this mate.
