Actually, it could be potentially be possible if you were called Hans-Christian von Sachsenhaus-O'Halloran-D'Ascoyne-N'Kono....

I'm laughing....Everyone seems to be so negative this morning.
We all support Stoke... do we not?
Pulis DID make some tactical errors of judgement last night and theres little more to say on the subject.
I just hope he realises this and drops those players like Sidibe .The difference was when Fuller came on was there for all to see.
I rate our chances of automatic promotion as 50/50.Those teams below STILL have to win their games yet,and if they do, then we do have justification in being morose and depressed.
Until that happens we live to fight another day...We are due a good win soon I feel. We certainly missed a gilt edged chance last night though..,one that may come back to haunt us...who knows.?

Meanwhile, back at the footie!
Mick, I don't really agree with you my cyber friend. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and, whilst I am not Mr P's greatest fan, he has got us to the top - something I certainly didn't expect at the start of the season, and every team has been his selection, not that of us fans. Ric was lethal at Wolves as a sub, and had a similar impact at Norwich. Last night it didn't quite work - mainly because we had too much to do in the second half (and palace aren't Scunny). Some players didn't cover themselves in glory and I felt both full backs were poor on the night, Cressy looked better on the left and we did miss Liam (not the managers fault that one). We all have our opinions as to who should / shouldn't play, but as Denis Smith, rightly, said. "Only the manager knows which players are physically and mentally 'right' on the day. More times than not this season our manager has got it right, hence our lofty league position. Lets all hope he can get it right over the next 4 games!

LP. worry not friend. You have an opinion and I respect it. I wouldn't say I am speaking in hindsight though. Merk put a thread on here a while back asking a simple 'yes' or 'no' whether we would do it. I answered 'No' because my experience of Pulis is that he's brilliant if you want to avoid relegation but not good enough for promotion due to his dogmatic approach to the game. The best managers are pliable both in their tactics and play their players who are on form rather than their favourites. I reckon we can all join together in a group hug to the sentiments of your last sentence.... I sincerely hope so and I aint given up yet even though I know now that it's most unlikely. OS. aka Hans-Christian von Sachsenhaus-O'Halloran-D'Ascoyne-N'Kono

I've never thought we could do it...but that's just years of following Stoke and knowing to keep my expectations low Last night showed once again that any team in this division is capable of beating any other and with so much undecided most teams will have something to play for right up to the last game (or 2). The roller coaster will have plenty of ups and downs between now and May 4th...I feel "sea sick" already ;D
