Hmm, ok, very fucking depressed today after last night, although Glenn's goal was a cracker. Where do you start?. It seems to me if we play a side with two pacy, tricky wingers we are in for a shit time. Sinclair gave Pugh the run around last night and Griff on occasions struggled with Moses (cheating little git). Thought Ameobi was pretty poor, although I know he isn't match fit.
Ratings:
Nash - 6 (no chance with second goal, looked a little lost for the first)
Griff - 6 (given the run around by Moses, although seemed a bit more composed 2nd half)
Pugh - 5 (I thought he was pretty bad last night. Couldn't handle Sinclair and had my heart in my mouth every time he got the ball, his distribution was way off too, not a left back really, why the hell wasn't Dicko in there??).
Cort - 6 (pretty solid, looked like he was desperate to score and was unlucky with some headers)
Riggy - 7 (Thought he was solid last night and made some good tackles)
Cressy - 6 (Not a winger is he Tone? couldn't really cross it too well but ran his socks off, loved his little row with Clint)
Whelan - 7 (cracking goal and seemed pretty solid in midfield, caught in possession a few times though, seemed better in the 2nd half)
Delap - 6 (His throws were menacing, but we only produced something out of one of them, hit a great cross in the first half)
Pearson - 6 (Ok, worked well on the left, but his corners just didn't come to much like Lenny's do).
Ameobi - 5 (Thought he was pretty dire last night. Seemed to spend a lot of time moaning about fouls not being given, took a goal scoring shot from Fuller's boots, He isn't match fit and if the money hadn't been spent on him, think he should be a sub.)
Sidders - 6 (Did what he had to and was unfortunate with the header, his awareness infront of goal is pretty bad though).
Subs:
Fuller - 8 (Our best player, changed the game and frightened the shit out of their back four, if only he could of started).
Bothroyd - 7 (Did well on the left, combined well with Fuller, I'd start him on the left at the Ricoh).
Only the laws of gravity will explain just how the hell Sidder's header didn't roll in, to see the ball roll agonisingly along the line was so hard to take. We had another chances but their keeper was on song, probably means he will concede 5 next week.
Their second goal was good, although I dare that centre back to hit another like that, his first goal of the season, pretty typical really.
Overall, we should of won last night, but luck was not on our side. I think the SKY camera's have something to do with that. If only Riccy could of started, it may of been different, and with Lenny ruled out, well it was going to be hard. Stoke have never done anything the easy way so Im not surprised to find us in the position we are. I just dont want us to throw it all away.
I can see Brazil going up so it's a shootout for that second spot. I don't want Brazil to go up, but they have the extra games. I cannot believe we will let this rest on other results, but thats the way it happens and we are just gonna have to get on with it.
Team changes for Saturday:
Pugh Out - Dicko In
Cort Out - Shawcross In
Ameobi Out - Fuller In (not gonna happen I know)
I would seriously think about slotting Bothroyd on the left too, he seems to have a good left foot and put in some decent balls last night.
My Team v Coventry:
Nash
Griff Riggott Shawcross Dicko
Lenny (If fit - if not Pearson) Delap Whelan Bothroyd
Fuller Sidibe
Subs:
Simmo Cort Pugh Ameobi Gally Cressy
Tone needs to sort it otherwise it will be out of our hands. Still got to keep the faith but I am now very worried. We cannot buy a win at the moment and that obviously needs to change this Saturday. Fuller MUST start, end of. Keeping the faith...just!

Good summary of last night's disappointment. Think Bothroyd will be back at Wolves soon as he was loaned out to inflict damage on Wolves' competitors. That now includes us! Unless of course McCarthy thinks it's better to leave him here!? Keep the (blind) Faith!
