I'd recall Ben Marshall irrespective of whose available tomorrow. Ethers and Pennant always seem to be carrying injuries and Marshall is our only other genuine winger. Surely he'd be a very worthy bench option every single week? The bench in midweek was a joke with Higgy, Collins and Wilko clogging it up.

Don't be silly FM.
He's under the age of 30. Therefore he's just a kiddie who would obviously wet himself in fear at the prospect of playing a premier league game and would just sit there sobbing for his Mummy in a pool of his own piss all match.

I think he would be and we are crying out for something a bit different from the bench, maybe he could be it? TD is right though. ;D

Where's this matty and pennant are injured shit come from? Sounds like Pennant could be okay, but Ethers possibly on bench? www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/sport/Stoke-City-Pulis-hoping-seal-new-deal-Sorensen/article-3293160-detail/article.htmlPulis will make late decisions on wingers Matthew Etherington (back) and Jermaine Pennant (knee) before tomorrow's clash, but has hinted that he will keep faith with full-backs Marc Wilson and Danny Pugh for a fifth successive game.
"Matty is still a bit tentative, but better than he was," said Pulis. "He wants to play, but I'm not sure if he's ready for 90 minutes. Jermaine came off on Monday night, so we'll have to wait and see on him."

Isn't it just, now that Tuncay has gone we really are one dimensional. Tomorrows formation looks like 8-1-1.

If Wilson plays tomorrow, we will lose.
That will be 12 defeats out of 15 Prem starts for him.
The lad needs a rest.

Walters impressed me last night but he still looks as lethal/threatening to opposition defenders as John Inman with a pink feather duster. as threatening as that!!!

I'd like to see Ric play right wing. Has to be a better option than Delap.

The crazy thing about tomorrow is their weakness is their defence
If we dont go there and test them they will win and win easily
Is it that hard ?

Assuming Ethers and Pennant are fit my team would be: (4-4-2)
Begovic; Wilko, Shawcross, Huth, Higgi; Pennant, Whitehead, Delap, Etherington; Carew, Fuller

Its pretty much nailed on that we'll see this tomorrow:
Begovic
Wilson Huth Shawcross Pugh
Delap Diao Whitehead Walters
Carew Jones

Its pretty much nailed on that we'll see this tomorrow: Begovic Wilson Huth Shawcross Pugh Delap Diao Whitehead Walters Carew Jones Can't see the line-up being quite that apocalyptic. I'd guess he'll risk Pennant. And surely if we are scrambling around for CM options, either Wilson or Pugh would be preferable to Salif, with us having such relatively strong options at full-back. Although, admittedly, Salif is due one of his out-of-the-blue starts

I just dont see what TP sees in certain players, I mean whelan must be thinking WTF do I have do get a game and I know alot of supporters aren't admirers but the guy has hardly had any game time so you cant expect him be sharp. Id have him over the majority of our midfielders anyday, tomorrow especially with parkers quality we need some in the middle ourselves alls diao does is foul and fucking point!!
