We are committing too many players to get forward and playing into the hands of the opposition, who are tearing us apart at the back on the break. For some strange reason TP has abandoned his tactic of 'sound defending' and is being too adventurous in his approach.
It would work but we just don't have the quality up front. We need to be patient in the final games because we do have the players at the back to keep a clean sheet. (If they are picked) We need to grind the wins out of the final games but we are not going to do it by throwing caution to the wind.
Just my view on things.......

I'd say a lack of plan B and a lack of pace are just as big a problem. I don't think "we are committing too many men forward" at all. Even when he came on and we were chasing the game Bothroyd spent more time closer to the half way line than the opposition box. Palace 1st goal came because midfield, as they are drilled to do, had dropped too deep and there was no-one in the critical area to win the second ball from our clearing header.
I agree that there are problems at the back though - we don't attack the ball (bring back Ryan! ) - Griff has been badly off form - and even in a game he "wanted to win more than any in his life" was Cort an imposing presence last night?
I'd put my faith in the young lions - Ryan, Zak, Dicko, Wilko - who are brave and comitted and actually knock the opposition players about a bit ( and all of them would have closed down the Palace player for their second goal last night! ). Yes they are technically limited but we hardly play a controlled build up from the back in any case! Ryan would be learning more playing alongside Riggot than he does from Cort. I'd have Whelan coming and taking the ball from them and with Lawrence and Pearson in the side actually try and play into wide channels and behind full backs rather than the aimless boot up to Mama or Ameoba.
