I heard he'd played under some very strong painkillers but just assumed it was some rumour, maybe? maybe not?
I've done it, it makes it easier to play but afterwards you feel like shit!

Just shows how much he must be enjoying playing for us. He was DESPERATE to play on Saturday despite having a back injury. That's very good commitment ;D ;D ;D

I agree, the only reason i played when i slipped a disc in my back was becasue there was supposed to have been a Fail scout there. I know it's the fail btu better than nothing!
I wish i hadn't played, he could have come back anytime, and it was probably the worst game i ever played!

Yer agree, i'm the same, i'll play through an injury for as long as i can untill it gets worse and worse and then i'm out for a few weeks!

Moorlander. I have just paid tribute to your incisive mind and thanked you for pointing out that Eustace was not lying in his interview. What more can a man do to show his appreciation! ???
Actually, it would be VERY useful if you could regularly scan all the posts on this board and confirm the truth of statements made by players. I mean Eustace isn't a doctor. He might have thought he had a bad back but it maight have been an ingrowing toenail for all we knew without you to confirm the truth of the matter. ;D
