Let's face it, that team is unlikely to secure an automatic promotion place, despite the best efforts of every other side in the top four. The form, performances and more importantly results, since (about) Wolves have been just above relegation material. If that's right then there's two things we need to ensure : firstly that we don't descend into a collapse and miss the play-offs altogether. Secondly that in the play-offs we don't suffer 'team that should have gone up' syndrome. No one expected us to be in the top six at the start of the season. It's too late to get on the team or managers back now. Let's give them our support - with less pressure we may get lucky and maybe reach the top two, if not then let's not throw the play-offs away before we've even started. There will be plenty of time for recriminations and inquests if we don't do it.
