And Liverpool thought they could get him for £5 million! I hope he stays at Stoke for years.

Easily our best player this season. So proud of how defensively solid we have been this season.

Amazing the number of balls he get on the end of in the box. What amazes me, when you read the Liverpool messageboards they say we don't want him he's not up to Liverpools standards. Yeh like Agger and that Greek yoghurt, they're deluded.

if him and Trub are our defence for the next 5 years we won't go down. Quite simply superb was Huth today. Not often Davies gets bullied but he was sh** scared of the Berlin Wall today.

Easily our best player this season. So proud of how defensively solid we have been this season. But we've actually been quite shit by our standards. Mainly a full back issue though to be fair.

Huth was fantastic yet again. Better than Cahill and Shawcross today who are apparently worth £20 million.

He would PISS his way into Liverpool's starting XI whatever their cunter fans may believe, and not only is he worth probably at least three times their pitiful offer, but they're in no position to afford him, and he wouldn't take a COMPLETELY SIDEWAYS step anyway.
It's fucking high time they started facing up to the truthful reality; they're not good, they're not famous, and they're not attractive anymore.
Rob Huth is a Stokie, and Rob Huth is better than any defender currently plying their trade at Liverpool Football Club.

Only team not to concede more than two goals in a single game in the Prem this season? Fair record I think Huth is harder than Chuck Norris and his family and their families family combined

Commentary I listened to said Liverpool had made an approach but Huth was happy where he was at Stoke. Never thought I would hear that statement from a Stoke player!!
He was by far the best defensive player on the pitch today and possibly the best attacking player off setplays.

Just love the guy. Not only is he a superb defender, he's a complete professional. He hasn't kicked up a fuss about being played out of position and just gets on with it. I was at the player awards thingy at the end of last season. When he got the "coaches player of the season" award he was genuinely surprised and humble.
Sammy Lee was sat near me at the game yesterday - I couldn't resist shouting "Huth's too good for your team".

What makes the big difference is he is now playing in the correct position, i.e. central, and that him and Shawcross work most excellently together. Immense the pair of em and I'm optomistic that all this transfer talk is crap. We aren't a selling club so this partnership should remain at Stoke for the foreseeable future.

one minute he is defending and then down the field putting the ball in the net. Yesterday he got from one end of the Pitch to the other quicker than it took KJ to stroll from midfield towards the net. What can you say when our defender is in position to try and score and KJ is in midfield. I do love Kj it is not a criticism. im just saying what would we do without Huth.
