I have been on another forum and I have noticed that Colchester United have released season ticket and match-day prices for next season which in all likeliness appears destined for League One football. Well the ticket prices are astonishing in how expensive they are. The cheapest adult season ticket is £508 and it will increase after 1st June. Also the match-day ticket prices will be £26, remember this is more than likely going to be for League One, the old third division. It goes to show that our season ticket prices are extremely competitive and in my opinion are good value for whatever division we will be playing in next season. Colchester United tickets: - Stoke City tickets: -

Our prices are very competitive (even more so if you buy now and we do go up).
Having said that, the prices for Col are a bit ridiculous considering they are likely to be playing League 1 footy next season.

They are fucking ridiculous - £404 - £598 for all season tickets - disabled season ticket included. Disgraceful.
Considering that a Disabled season ticket at Stoke before April 17th is £249 for maybe Premier legue football is fantastic. But Over £400 for League 1 is mad.
But suppose they have got to pay for the new stadium.

Yea but leeds get 30,000 almost every home match. So they will pay no matter what.

That can't be the actual matchday price for next season surely? £26 x 23 games = £598 so you don't save anything.

They also propose to charge £10 for parking at an out-of-town purpose built stadium
How to kill off an already not-very-established football club?
Perhaps the chief executive is related to Moxey?

Col U wouldn't fill that new stadium even if they gave tickets away and they were still in the Championship. I live there, and it's not a big football town. Many people who like the beautiful game in this part of the world are glory hunters drawn towards Ipswich, West Ham etc. Tossers.
There may be a few big crowds for the first few games with the novelty of the new ground, but that will soon die off. And the Community Stadium is right out of town, not on a main bus route, not walking distance from the station, tenner to park... Add the daft season ticket prices, and you have to say they're financially fucked.
These prices are probably so high to match the stupid cost of living down here. House prices are mental. But when people who currently walk to Layer Road realise it's going to cost them a packet to get to the new ground, on top of their ST, they'll probably think again. Especially when they're playing Posh and the MK Dons.
Still, I feel a bit sorry for Col U. Played some good stuff last year, and have been found out this. As soon as they lost Big Chris and Cureton, they were bollocksed. Signing Teddy smacked of desperation. I know the table doesn't lie, but I would much rather some of the other shite in this division went down instead of them.
Then again, I hope we give them a right drubbing for a send-off in the last game at Layer Road at the end of the month.
Gooooooaaaaarn Stoke.

Why am i being smited because im on about the stupid high price for Disabled and Helper at Colchester.
I have a right to complain about them because i am disabled & feel its an ridiculous amount to pay. Especially when it's in League 1 & Stoke's is a hell lot cheaper for probable Premiership Football.
Unless it's that twat Spiderman who Smiting me - doing it on purpose because i like Tony Pulis. Get a life Spiderman you Berk!!!
