Despite the stainess of our performance I am enjoying watching Wilson at least try and pass it to a team mate rather than play the % hoof ball. He has potential.
It does make me shake my head though when I watch a 35/6/7 (i honestly don't know) like Giggs stroll around making space and playing folks in whilst our £40k a week stars struggle to make a 10 yard pass.

Its actually getting quite funny reading the slobbering of the wolves trying to blame Collins for everything.
Have you lads got the foggiest idea how Stoke defenders are told to set up from Youth Team through to first team? What do you watch every week?

I'd think about taking Jones off instead of Tuncay. Tuncay's done more with movement and winning balls. Ric can compete and against Smalling he will dominate him. And that moment of Fuller magic...

The initial mistake tunny gave the ball away cheaply, but the situation should have been dealt with, as a defender i expect collins to close down nani and stop the cross, basic schoolboy defending |

Defend narrow and deal with crosses that are put into the box. Exactly Mark. It's what Andy Gray picked out on sky about 4 weeks into our premier league!
Point being, deal with crosses that come into the box. I still prefer to try and block crosses when poss.

The "service" kenwyne is getting is abysmal. Just long balls up front and he is too isolated - even if he can get near the ball he can't hold it long enough to bring in other players. .... We can't get either "winger" behind their fullbacks to get decent crosses in ... And, like you say, no decent crosses means an unproductive Kenny ... If Pennant is fit, we need two proper wingers ... FatLad for Tunk might not be a bad option either, Tunk is doing very little productive ... Won't happen though, I think ... |
