Hellu!
It's time to let the world know what we're on about: Premier League football of course!
Stoke 2 (1) - Crystal P 1 (0)
The Brit Att: 20234 Televised
Referee: Mike Oliver from Revenge County Linesmen: Bullhead Chikosta from Lingerie and Martin PJFS Foley from Mue
Stoke City line up:
Nash Griffin-Cort-Shawcross-Riggott Lawrence-Whelan-Pugh-Pearson Ameobi-Fuller
Subs: Bothroyd, Diao, Dickinson, Simonsen, Zakuani
Crystal P line up:
Speroni Lawrence-Hill-Hudson-Butterfield Fletcher-Ifill-Kennedy-Reid Morrison-C Sheringham
Subs: Wilkinson, Soares, Hughes, Derry, Scowcroft
The GAME: A televised game between the Potters and Palace. The beverage and snacks in front of us, at the Brit and in the sofas. And we have to win this one. It was a real dramatic start to this game! In the 4th minute Hudson made an own goal. What's more, it was a header after a Lawrence corner, but the referee Mike Oliver (Pulis's favourite hrmm...) waved it was off side. Pulis couldn't take it anymore, he ran out on the pitch and yelled at the ref. So Pulis was sent off the Brit - the stadium! So after only five minutes of the game, he went to the nearest pub to follow the game, with his mobile phone on. In the 21st minute after some half chances from Stoke, Fuller collided with Speroni after a long ball from Cort. Fuller survived a bit weary, but Palace had to make a substitution - Speroni off, Wilkinson on. Then Stoke dominated the game even more and Fuller got a great pass from Ameobi on the right side, simply passed the keeper and made it 1-0 in the 36th minute.
Just before half time, Charlie Sheringham almost equalised but Nash showed why Simonsen might have some problems to be the number one keeper of ours. That shot was the only shot Palace had on target in the first half. The second half began and Palace had an opportunity early on, but Nash made a terrific save from a long distance shot. But only a couple of minutes after that chock they were awarded a free kick inside the penalty box, only 5 meters from the goal line. At that free kick Pugh was hit on his ass and the referee unexpectadly whistled for a penalty. Nash got absolutely furious, but Morrison also got furious because Nash got furious, so Morrison was sent off. But Shawcross then laughed and was sent off as well!! However, Nash who started this only got a yellow card! Sheringham equalised from the spot and there were 32 minutes to go.
The game was nerve wrecking and really good, with lots of chances. Ameobi turned around after a fine cross from Pearson - one of many - and hit the bar. Stoke made a couple of changes ten minutes after that, Ameobi who looked surprisingly tired off, and Bothroyd on. Since Shawcross was sent off earlier on, Pugh played in defence allready and the Potters played 4-3-2. But so did Crystal P, so they decided on a Fuller off, Diao on substitution in the 75th minute. Logical? Now, Lawrence played up front together with Bothroyd. Was it a genial tactical move? Yes it happened to be, since Lawrence scored after a terrific run in the 86th minute. Everybody's happy! Well, not the Londoners, but...
Man of the Match: R Fuller Rate: 5 out of 5.
The Stats: Shots on/off target: 12/14 - 3/6 Corners: 11 - 4 Crosses: 12 - 7 Throw ins: 32 - 64 Off sides: 18 - 13 Yellow cards: 1 - 2 Red cards: 1 - 1 Penalties: 0 - 1 Ball possession (in percent): 63 - 37
Crowd stats: Wearing his underwear backwards: 12 - 0 Possible Noble Prize candidats: 111 - 3 Sure of reaching the Prem: 2031 - 84

Come on Danny! Believe! Anything is possible! Imagine it now...
First minute... we gain possession with Pearson... he breaks down the left and looks up... ... he sends a sublime cross into the middle... ...shola rises like a young salmon.... ....and instinctively nods down to ricky... he controls first time and .... instantly drags it past the first defender.. ... and then he strikes ......
..the silence around the stadium is incredible.. ..the ball moves in slow motion... ..as do the players....
GOALLLLLLLLLL
ricky rifles it into the roof of the net!!!!! The keeper has no chance. The stadium erupts...you know the rest.
We are going up say we are going up!!!!!!!!

..the silence around the stadium is incredible.. Errm...not really. It happens every time. Unless Stoke equalise. Or OB walk around with a camera. Or a 'ten-man' steward gets an erection.
