Just saw the announcement on the official club site.
Seems like he worked at Adidas for 11 years and came from Birmingham City.
1)Anyone know who the old "Head of sales" was?
2)Will he report to the Commercial Director?
3)Is his remit Commercial deals like sponsorship or ticket sales or both?
4)Presumably he will be measured on/paid on revenue?
5)Will his appointment affect my everyday life?!
Any thoughts welcome...

We need a new head of sales. For 30 years we were the best at it, then this season all we've done is buy players.

Sounds like a replacement for that John Booth character... ..but apart from that Mrs Lincoln, what did you think of the performance?

I don't know the fella but it promises to be a great appointment and I'm both delighted and releived.
Experience with Adidas and Brum will serve him in good stead, the former for obvious reasons, the latter because of their often inovative ideas, under the often irritating but exceptionally talented Karren Brady.
It is what we have been crying out for, for ever, and present ambition under the revitalised chairman, seems to know no bounds. So well done to PC.
Now for the ticket office re-organisation.

remember the days when "Adidas" stood for "all day I dream about sex", wonderful wonderful times. Sigh. These days it probably stands for something else. Mind you, Adidas kick were the business, I asked for some when I was 9, didnt get any though. Didnt get any Green Flash either. Tight bastards my parents were....
